Having help by an expert to get you exactly what you want without have to learn or hire a random freelancer that has experience but likely not with the tool you're using.A close second is it's extremely accurate! I've process thousands of pages and have yet to find an error! Cons I'm normally a critical person but I can't think of anything. The testing period was good as I was able to perform due diligence in the use of the application and determine if it is the right one for our use. Pros Its customer support is excellent! They were very responsive and able to help with my issues. They were able to help me in setting up my extraction and was very helpful as I conducted my testing. Cons AI capability is limited. Need to improve on AI features. I would suggest that when edits are performed in the application, the AI feature should be able to learn and store the corrections so that it can apply on future data conversions. I appreciate knowing that I can reach out to Customer Support to figure out my more complicated questions. Pros The transcription of illegible handwriting is pretty impressive! Customer Support offers several options to help you get what you need. Cons It is not the most intuitive program to use without watching tutorials; but after tutorials it is pretty easy to navigate. Pros It's been able to capture my scanned PDFs with 100% accuracy. My demo was fantastic. Cevat was able to explain the software in a way that was simplistic. I trialed a ton of softwares and only 1 other was able to do capture the data like AlgoDocs. That other software had a lot of limitations on number of users, extractors and their price was so much more. In addition, as I was going through my search, I found that lot of companies couldn't even offer demos due to their limited resources. The AlgoDocs support has also been FANTASTIC. I couldn't intuitively figure out how to create a filter. Support was able to go into my account and do it for me all in the same day. A lot of the filters have videos on how to use them as well and have attached information on how to execute them. The other software I mentioned, that came as a close 2nd, did not have that. I am shocked they don't have a 5 rating! Cons Some advanced filters didn't have a video/article on how to execute them, but as I said, just contact support! With only a few clicks, you can create an extractor and begin parsing documents. I especially like that it integrates with email to allow importing of documents. I appreciate the many options available for extractor building. Love the fact that with an annual subscription, you have a bucket of credits to use at any time throughout the year. Very flexible. Also like that it supports webhooks as I needed to setup an automation in Make.com to interface with my application. I had one blip where the service was not available for a few mins, but apparently that was due to system updates being applied on a weekend. Cost is reasonable and the support is exceptional. Cons Wish that support requests could be integrated into the AlgoDocs web interface and separated from requesting extractors to be built. At the moment, it seems that you can only request extractors to be built via the Web interfcae. All other support requests must go through a Contact form via the main website. There are no kind IT people waiting around to help me. They have more to do with privacy and security. I needed a strange tool and I got it. Could not recommend this business enough. Pros I had a really tiny request. I needed a tool to take my handwriting on a form and make a spreadsheet. No one at my work could help. AlgoDocs said "of course we can do that". I have been treated like I was their best customer despite being on the free subscription. They reply to me in a couple of hours every time I need one more thing. Cons There are no cons. AlgoDocs gets and detects all the required fields and puts them in specific parameters. It works very well! Pros Very easy and clean API. The interface is also intuitive. I can correctly find all the necessary fields and connect to the related parameters. Cons Prices are a bit inflexible, but these days that's fair. It is really user friendly and intuitive. For field agricultural observations and/or socio-economic surveys, it is a real game changer. You save time and money. Pros Incredibly easy to turn hand written tables into Excel files. Less than 5 % errors, mostly due to unreadible hand writting. Clear (standard) hand writting is 0 % error. Pros I have scoured the normal AI apps when I was looking to digitise my hand written logbook. I would find nothing that would analise my handwriting until I stumbled onto AlgoDocs. In the words of one of the other reviewers "Its a game changer". Cons It is so accurate that it unfortunately picks up on all the errors and corrections that I made and had to sign next to as the logbook is an official document. It mean spending time editing it out, but hey, had I not made so many mistakes, it would have worked so much faster. AlgoDocs allows me to digitise my previous experience accurately and therefore has actually helped make the rest of my career more accurate. Review Source PS Paul S. Pros AlgoDocs has been excellent at extracting useable data from a semi complex invoice. These invoices are not well laid out, featuring multiple data points in just one column. What's more, the contents and length of the items varies. And sometimes one row is split over two pages. I used to use OCR software and do this semi manually, which was a pain. Especially as the OCR often got 0s and Os mixed up, along with some others. Extracta.ai has a nice interface, but was still making mistakes on these invoices. I think I will be using AlgoDocs from now on. Cons The focus has been more on functionality and less on a contemporary, pretty interface. They are easy to use and are almost free of errors. I've found that they very easily pick up on even the worst still-legible handwriting. It has enabled me to enter survey data extremely quickly. Cons I do wish that you could select what portion of a page the auto table reader analyzes. I also wish you could do more individual document analysis instead of batch analysis only. I also wish that the selection in other modes could utilize abnormal polygon selection, so you can select the corners of a slightly skewed document.
