It is sometimes clunky, but okay overall. Pros Ease of filing data. I think that an improvement to the way in which files can be saved from papercloud would make sense (i.e. if I wanted to extract data). Cons It is temperamental. I am sure there is more we can do with the system, but initially just being able to hugely reduce our use and storage of physical paper files has been a game-changer for our business. Pros The reason we chose Papercloud was because of the way we could easily configure our filing style and save things in an order/set up that suited us best. It is easy and intuitive to use and enabled us to get rid of paper files which was a great step forward for us. Cons In terms of downsides, the system can run a little slowly sometimes, although that is probably true for every web-based system. My only real criticism is that the quality of documents saved is not always great, so extracting again and sharing for business purposes (when quality is essential) isn't as good as saving the original document separately. Pros It is a high functioning online filing cabinet that is easy to use and navigate around Cons If you do not remember to hit save, and you bring another file over into you 'pages to be placed' it pulls everything back into that tab and you have to start again. I use paper cloud as daily to scan and retrieve customers PODs and also have some customers that access the files remotely themselves. Pros Its very user friendly and the search facility is a great addition for retrieving documents quickly. Cons Once your tab/row is created and contains files it is difficult to alter the layout eg moving all the files into one year tab at the end of each year. Review Source KD Kyle D. The print function to add to papercloud was a seamless transition to saving and then upload on our previous software. Metadata search is convenient when wanting to search for something in a hurry. The ability to re-allocate through the in-tray to different users is very useful. Cons When adding, printing or saving the screen essentially disables until its finished processing. Cons Papercloud can sometimes be frustrating to use, particularly when dropping a file into the in-tray rather than printing an image to it. If a dropped file fails to upload, it will permanently fail no matter how may times you retry. The only solution is to drop it into a folder and then move it back out to where you need it. Cons I find that connect often disconnects and there is no notification of this. I myself am colour-blind and often don't realise that my connect icon has gone red, so a notification would be helpful.
