Pros

I was able to share certain files with clients and have complete control over the specific permissions. The Outlook integration was convenient and worked easily. It provides peace of mind to send encrypted files through email.

Cons

No complaints. It was easy to use and worked every time. I could see it being challenging for older users as the interface changes regularly.

Benefits include: Secure file sharing and collaboration tool. Support is great and is inclusive in subscription.

Pros

Collaboration tools built-in are easy to use without need for training. Setup and configuration are simple and intuitive that can get an entire agency running up quickly. Rules and policy are easy to deploy where your able to use tracking tools. Overall a great business class sharing tool with many options that supersede others in the same market space

Cons

Its not free. You cant compare to google drive or MS onedrive, however Sharefile offers better security and tools. Support is part of what you pay for as they provide full support of system.

I like that our files can be easily shared internally and externally and are mostly organized. I am able to access files from my phone or any computer.

Pros

I love that you can save a version to your desktop and it works just like a regular file folder. It is also nice to be able to access shared files on the internet wherever you are. I also like that you can star your most used folders and only sync content that you use the most, but still access anything you need quickly.

Cons

Sometimes, multiple versions are created if people forget to check out files which is confusing to sort through, and on heavily used files, there have been we have lost modifications.

### "Second to few or none, but get ready to spend"

I've used both personally and for work, and never had an issue. Would not pay for a personal plan however, due to their high pricing for personal use.

Pros

It is extremely easy to use, and very user intuitive. I've never had an issue using it to send or receive files, nor have our clients to my knowledge. Number one, however, is security which is the point of using this service. I trust its security when sending documents which is vital.

Cons

Cost, cost, cost. The cheapest plan for just a personal user makes it not worth it to use personally. Geared towards corporate use, which is fine given that's what I think they want. I wish they had a reasonable cheap plan, but there are free options out there for personal use anyway. This is a good corporate solution.

I like how convenient it is to use this app. For a file storage system for personal use or for business.. it is topnotch highly recommend

Only problem are the plans, if you want more space you have to pay, it's a business so it's understandable

Pros

We use this product to help our clients bring in documents to us safely. It has been a great tool for us and them to know our client's info is secure.

Cons

The only thing I have found that is a bit weird is the permissions to each folder. Some times I can't click a certain staff person to get downloads or upload notification. They are grayed out. Other than that it has been a good thing for us.

Pros

Great interface and easy to use. Good integration with outlook Multiple methods of sharing files Allows for updating file versions without re-sending a link Tracks file downloads Allows sending someone else a link to upload files to send to you. Fast uploada and download times

Cons

It would be nice to have a password protect feature for links when needed. It would be great to have a "refresh" link feature since links often expire before the files get deleted. In line with the comment above having a summary page of links generated in last "X" amount of days so a user can choose to refresh it. Web based PDF viewer is mediocre. It would be great if a PDF did not open by default and user had the option to download before it opens.

I love that we can upload files that all of our remote and in office employees can quickly have access to. We also love that we can create specific folders for our clients to upload any of their files to that would be too large to send via email.

Cons

There is nothing that I dislike about ShareFile.

Files in a consistent place all the time. It does what its named.

Pros

I don't find anything super exciting about Sharefile, which is great for the program itself. It sit there quietly and does its thing. There are sync oddities here and there, but nothing insurmountable. The administration of users is nice and clean. They don't let zombie files happen by accident. Good stuff.

Cons

I actually don't have much to say here except that you can get into weird sync issues. If you're trying to fiddle with files you are an admin with but don't own, you can get into file duplication pretty easy. I find it annoying but only annoying. It's likely a good feature if I wasn't such a megalomaniac about it.

We recommend using sharefile to synchronize files in the cloud to work directly on all linked devices, and to achieve much more powerful electronic signature management. It is also recommended to track the versions of each file.

Pros

Filtering the files after uploading them to the cloud is really easy. Sharefile is integrated into a huge number of customers, so it is practical to use it to achieve better and wider results. It has a large capacity to store data.

Cons

The encryption of the files that we upload to the cloud using sharefile is not as powerful, so we fear for the security of our stored information. When the file is too large, the platform decreases in performance.

There are many solutions in this space however ShareFile provides an easy alternative while meeting our compliance and regulatory needs. It is easy to administer and our user community loves it.

Cons

The licensing scheme can be a bit tricky and requires some thought on how your going to use it because you can easily exceed your costs.

Having an app for any device I may use it on is great. User management is straightforward. Requesting a file is very easy.

Cons

Changing a user's permissions take a long time to take effect. Needs better indexing for folder with high folder counts in them.

I really like that I can create file structure templates to keep everything organized within the folders. It makes it easier to apply the settings to each new folder created and you don't have to manually add them!

Pros

I like that you can grant users access to different files so that they are empowered to log in and retrieve copies, rather than calling and asking for them to be emailed. It is way more secure this way since they need a unique username and password.

Cons

There are times when the system is slow to load and open files.

Quick way to send large files to clients. Also provides backup of sent files on server.

Pros

I work for a Marketing Department for a large health care system. Our department is responsible for creating video and photo content. This results in very large files. And our dilemma is how to get those files to the clients. ShareFile has solved the problem. We can now send large video and photo files with no issues...and they are backed up the ShareFile server....so if we need to share them with others, it's just a mouse click or two away.

Cons

I have no cons for this software. It has been a true game changer for us. It saves us time and headaches.

Pros

I like that it keeps my desktop private and I would need my citrix log in to get to my private desktop settings. We use this at work

Cons

Citrix is almost down most of the time when logging in. May have to do with our work internet but it is very inconvenient needing to log in to access your desktop when internet is slow.
