Not very user friendly. Had to call for support several times. But once I got the hang of it it was ok. Pros That it had it's own software for no monthly fee. Cons The lack ability for admin to add and delete punches. Would be nice if it automatically calculated overtime when they work over 40 hrs. I had to create a spreadsheet to calculate the OT. This is a time-consuming step whenever I have to do payroll. I have to copy and paste every punch from every employee and add it to my spreadsheet so I can calculate myself the OT. Reason for choosing CrossChex Cloud mainly the price point and that it included it's own software for no monthly fee. I love the mobile app for employees, the fact that they can view every punch in and out is fantastic. I love the request for correction process and the approval steps. It allows correction without leaving room for discrepancy. I HATE the reports. I understand that they are simply all the data, BUT I spend a lot of time editing the excel sheet every week. Need to be able to set a company "profile" so we can decide what columns we need and delete the rest. My company has paid lunches. We can't use the "break" feature to track length of lunches because the are automatically not part of the paid time? Why not a box we can check asking paid or not paid? Pros This system can be used and accessed from anywhere. It tracks minute by minute and is easy to use. Employee portal Cons You should be able to format a report and save it. If I run the week I should be able to just get it set up to my specifications without editing every time! I delete HALF the columns because they are a waste of ink for me. I want it sorted by department, then name, not date. Why are duty time and working time on there? ALWAYS ZERO. Why can't I edit this and save it so it shows up the way I want? Why does it always show 2 weeks when I specified weekly starting on Sunday? When I pull this up I want to see current week only. If I need to see last week I will change the search parameters. Reason for choosing CrossChex Cloud I liked the online access and the face that we could use key fobs. I chose this brand specifically because there was no monthly payment. " August 2, 2023 3.0 We have had some kinks to work out and still doing so. Overall it has worked for our needs. Not sure if I would purchase again for what we are using it for. The timekeeping, etc. could work great, we just dont use it for that. Pros Our association is using the software to give members of our facility access to specific areas and keeping others out. When facial recognition works, it is quick and easy. Cons Software does not always recognize faces. Have to re-upload or given pin permissions instead on some instances. Uploading thousands of members was a bit difficult initially. Reason for choosing CrossChex Cloud The product was referred to us from another YMCA currently using it for the same purpose. I really like that it's not a monthly paid solution, it gets all the information I need and has easy ways to export the reports in excel, which is what I care about the most Cons The layout is very simple, and sometimes I feel some things could be done faster. For example, bulk modification of employees without uploading the Excel again, or having list views with all the different information instead of having to access it from each employee. Pros Readily available for purchase, and cheaper than many other time management softwares. Cons Privacy issues - we saw several devices in our company reporting that were not ours. The reporting overall is poor design and not customizable - too much time is spent formatting to suit our needs Set up guide is complex and not user friendly. Does not calculate overtime. Bi-weekly schedule is fixed, when it should be adjustable to meet company specific payroll calendars. Data from the device doesn't sync properly/regularly. "Anviz bot" chat is not very helpful. Cons The support team claims that an administrator not being able to insert/edit punches is for "Security" reasons, but the company's own Crosschex Standard software provides this functionality, so why not here? Cons Too basic, we could explore more functions, I just won´t complain since it´s a free / non-license software.As suggestion / improvements, I would recommend to possibility to work in a hybrid mode, flexible and fixed attendance under the same system.So far it´s just possible to choose between one or other, my company has employees with fixed shift and others for flexible, so it´s not 100% adapted, I have to do some manual adjustments in my reports and it takes me more time than I wanted.
