Pros It's easy to use, support is very good. I like that they respond with a written and video demo of the solution. Cons Would like to see the following features... -Email the fundraisers from the system. -Provide a button to see all current donors on each fundraisers page (not just the last six). -Allow a video on the main campaign page (right now its just a photo). Blaming their users for them leaving gaping holes that expose customer emails, even those that chose the anonymous option. Pros Their software development leaves a lot to be desired, so I suppose you could look at it as a pro that they have a lot of room to grow. Cons They managed to leak every single donor in a way that was exploitable to anyone who is able to use the right mouse button, and then blamed their users and insisted that this easily exploitable flaw couldn't have been the result of these lists leaking. No matter the issue, I receive fast responses that quickly resolve my issues. As far as I am concerned, this is a trifecta! Pros The service is outstanding--regardless of the problem, I receive precise and speedy support. Cons So many options, but that's not really a "con." Just took me a while to get through setting up the plugin. Startup problems aside, the product is feature-rich, and has a lot of capabilities. Pros Tech support when I need it. A difficult problem, discussed via email, was escalated to a top flight tech support person, who analyzed the problem with me, and got me headed in the right direction Cons Pretty complicated to use. There are so many features, setup is not trivial. Fortunaely, there is a wealth of documentation and real people when you need them. Seemed slow. But for the last 6 weeks - a critical time for us to take in donations, the credit card and paypal functions aren't working. Our designer has reached out multiple times and we keep thinking the problem is fixed and then it isn't. It is a terrible feeling to have generous donors give up because of WP Gives lousy development. Pros The pro was that my designer knew how to set this up. Cons We have had two months of failed credit card and paypal donation connectivity. We had one donor give up and wire us money. This has been ongoing since the middle of January and depite multiple attempts to fix the problem our donors still cant complete the payment. I tried myself just now and got a spinning wheel at the end and it doesn't appear to have taken. Quite honestly, if I could give 1000 stars, I would. Cons Really nothing, it's a great plugin. I would say that anything anyone would run into as a problem, all they have to do is contact customer support and the team there stays with you until the issue is solved. Rare air in today's world. Whenever I get stuck, GiveWP's customer service unsticks me. Pros It's user-friendly and flexible, and provides all the options I need at a reasonable price.
