I run two different businesses and I need to bill multiple clients hourly for the work I do. I am also a bit of a procrastinator and prone to distraction. I love having a no frills tool that keeps track of how I'm spending my time so I can be accountable to myself. Pros ManicTime is so easy to use. I don't use it to track employee time but rather to keep track of myself and how much time I spend doing this or that. It only takes me a few minutes to tag my day and though sometimes I put it off for a few days at a time, I appreciate the small amount of time I spend tagging my day and reflecting on how much I got (or didn't get) done. Cons This is kind of an in the weeds problem but autotagging doesn't work how I'd expect. If you use autotagging for X, it's on its own autotag bar and that bar doesn't seem to count toward the day being fully tagged, which means you need to tag again in the main "tag" bar if you want that time to show as fully tagged. But doing so makes your time spent doing X appear twice as long in the stats. Maybe I'm missing something. I just don't use use autotag. Alternatives considered [Clockify](https://www.capterra.com/p/169607/Clockify/) Reasons for choosing ManicTime Pro Simplicity was the main driver. Screen grabbing feature has been useful for proving facts under disputed and recreating corupt documents or remembering what I was working at any given time. Could not properly bill without it. Cons Screenshots can take up a lot of harddrive space. No ringcentral integration. It's just incredible! However, increasing the duration and functionality of its free trial would make it perfect. Pros I like ManicTime Pro. Managing your time, planning your work and keeping in touch with your colleagues even from a distance are all advantages that make this software incredible. It's all in one.
