### "Solid and easy with a couple of kinks"

Pros

It's easy to input and pull up prior patients, it's fairly simple for those of us new to having to get something like this off the ground, info is accurate and easy to find, and customer service has been very patient, helpful, and available when needed. The cost is billed monthly and is reasonable-- we have a very small budget in our tiny University-based Student Health Center, so that was a key factor in our decision.

Cons

The whole refill thing is clumsy and involves an extra couple of steps that seem unnecessary and redundant.

Cost, monthly billing, and ease of implementation.

If they could change the ability to renew with different refills I would like it much better.

Pros

Easy to put in pt info and find pharmacies.

Cons

Not easy to send refills- for ex I wrote a 30 day supply, 0RF. I can refill that but have to put in a fill new script if I want it to be 30 days, 1RF or 2RF

Would not recommend to other clinicians.

Pros

Writing a prescription is very easy. Electronic signatures are also very simple as well.

Cons

Adjusting a prescription is problematic as it is impossible and requires a new prescription for each adjustment. There is no clear cut way to look at a prescribing history as well. The medication interactions are repetitive and monotonous as you have to acknowledge the same interactions mutiple times during the same prescribing session each time the offending agents are prescribed with each other.

Overall, it absolutely did what we needed it to do, and continues to do so! Definitely would recommend!

Pros

My company mostly used Treat for writing prescriptions for controlled medications; it integrated well with our product at the time. I continue to use it for checking the national database, and it is extremely good at that; makes accessing the PDMP much more bearable than going through the state website.

Cons

I occasionally struggled with easily accessing which patients were needing/requesting refills, mostly because I was unable to find a way to sort and ONLY see prescription requests for myself, instead of for my whole team. This may have been a settings issue, but I was not able to figure it out.

I have had a good experience and find it straightforward to use. Other providers have struggled with the flow. It is reliable and easy to access.

Pros

It is a helpful data base of patients and their previous prescriptions. Reliable access from anywhere.

Cons

There is no way to keep more than one pharmacy in patient’s profile. Also, if a prescription is cancelled, there is not a way to document and review the reason later.

It sends prescriptions quicly to chosen pharmacy

Cons

Too many pages to click through. Poor search function doesnt work very well if I type too fast. Sometimes I will type the entire name and the search fails and I have to delete a letter to get filtered results. Often things dont appear in PDMP but other users see different information. Unable to see prior pharmacies used. Some patients need medication sent to multiple pharmacies and it makes it very difficult. Difficulty to search for pharmacies when patients only have the phone number.

We needed a standalone eRx system as we have ambitions to implement or piece together our own EHR system; Treat seemed like the best option available for our needs

Pros

I enjoy the modern and user-friendly interface. Whenever I do come across any issues, customer support has always been prompt and very helpful. I had started using it while it was free and have continued to use it with a paying subscription because it is reliable and I can easily copy/paste the information I need to document (unlike a phone app).

Cons

Parts of the platform are still being built out, so for instance I can't easily look up my prescribing history for a given patient without looking through code (which is fortunately decipherable, but would prefer it displayed in plain English)

It's affordable, relatively easy to use, with a modern interface

Cons

I wish I could modify a renew order, it would save me a lot of time! I would also like the option of saving multiple pharamcies.

Setting up new providers can sometimes be arduous, but customer service is quite helpful. Overall the e-prescribing system is easy to use and not difficult to teach. Passable for daily use but some improvements would be very helpful.

Pros

Ability to create favorites. Ease of adding clients and pharmacies. Ability to use previous prescriptions.

Cons

Sometimes not the most user friendly way to write the dosing instructions. Bombarded with interaction warnings (most of which are not even relevant/accurate).

Very good. Very mobile. iPad friendly. I have used Practice Fusion before and that was OK. i do like how this shows pharmacies that are close to the patient’s home zip code.

Pros

I don’t have a travel laptop and I am on the road weekly. I need to prescribe almost daily and this platform works well. I use ID.me for controlled substances and I am grateful that verification also comes through my Apple Watch!

Cons

laggy at times. Sometimes says confirmed and pharmacy does not have the Rx.

It's exactly what I wanted, which unfortunately seems rare these days. I wanted something that was modern, intuitive and well priced. I've been using it for months now and I feel like it was a good decision to give it a try, so I thought I'd share.

Pros

It's simple and really doesn't require training. I was able to set myself up and start using it without talking to anyone. They have a support line you can call, but I haven't used it yet. For the low price, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised to get renewals, PDMP and an easy 2-factor authentication process.

Cons

They have a Treat API program, so it sounds like I could integrate this with my EHR, however, I'm fine at the moment using it as a standalone.

Pros

The ease of use. I began using this produce the same day we completed our license purchase.

Cons

Sending prescription of compounded medications is difficult. Mary's Magic Mouth wash is an example.

Cons

I found it challenging to custom the instructions for some of my prescriptions, but I am not sure if that's because I can't with the software or I do not know how to properly edit certain things

Overall a reasonable service for e-prescribing. Setting it up was easy and I have no concerns with daily use. There are no dealbreaker glitches but it's not a luxury service. It safely gets my prescriptions to the pharmacies, so I have no serious complaints.

Pros

Treat is generally easy to use, has controlled Rx capability for an upcharge, interfaces well with pharmacies.

Cons

I can't adjust a dose without writing a new prescription. The multiple alerts for cross-reactions are super annoying. Maybe my fault for not setting it up, but I wish it had seamless interface with the PMP.

Easy to use software and interface. I liked that we could buy the e-prescribing software without an integrated patient database software. Dental offices use their own patient management software and is different than the ones used by medical offices. Most e-prescribing software does not take this into account.

### "Lots of error messages and no customer support"

Setup was easy. Worked well for the past few years. Since they've changed their name to DoseSpot (probably related to an acquisition or merger) their quality has dropped off precipitously - frequent error messages and inability to submit prescriptions. Customer support is non-existent. I think they're having bandwidth issues but there's nothing as frustrating as having to wait hours to submit a prescription (after hours) and they have zero real time support. I'm currently 36 minutes into hold time for support. That is the rule rather than the exception. Too bad - reasonably good application but technical issues are growing.

Pros

Clean interface. Used to work well but precipitous drop in quality and apparently no customer support. Too bad.

Cons

Customer support and low bandwidth. Frequent error messages and inability to submit prescriptions during busy time. Get ready to have to submit all your prescriptions after hours.
