The customer service has always been top notch. Pros I have been a ChiroUp user for many years. I liken ChiroUp to Igor, Frankensteins assistant. It helps me get things done in a timely manner. For example, if a patient presents with “tennis elbow”, I know I can use the appropriate tests for diagnosis and give them the appropriate exercise before they leave my office. It saves me time and is so easy to use. I recommend it to all my colleagues. Cons The one thing I would like to see with ChiroUp is the ability to link to my office EHR. When I have had issues they were very responsive and were able to help correct the errors or show me how to get the functionality I was looking for. Pros I love the ease of use and that they have prebuilt conditions that have the associated exercises with them. They also have a very large database of videos to choose from with audio explanations for the exercises. Cons Expanding on some of the exercises so that there are more advanced and very basic levels would be really nice. Some of my patients aren't able to do certain movements so I have to modify the exercises so they can perform them. It has greatly improved over the past few years and expect to see continued improvement from the team. Pros The exercise prescription platform is helpful for patients and streamlines my rehab processes, but I find that the clinical resources, research reviews, marketing materials, MD communication, and webinars are more valuable to my practice. This is so much more than just an exercise prescription platform. Cons The cost is expensive when comparing other platforms and you have to make sure you are setting aside time to actual use the additional resources and information to get full value out of the higher monthly subscription rate. I have used home exercise programme systems before, but they lack the detailed information about each diagnosis, and rarely include activity modification advice such as workstation ergonomics, lifting technique, etc. The "research review" feature allows me to stay up to date with current evidence based practice, and also on top of my CPD requirements (I think the US calls it CE). Some of the condition reports have also reminded me of diagnoses I may have forgotten or lost familiarity with, so I can go through the clinician version and brush up. Since I work in chronic and complex patient management, this has massively improved my skill as a diagnostician. Pros The continually expanding catalogue of conditions allows me to be more and more specific with relaying information to patients as well as other providers. Making the reports customisable allows me to edit the exercises as I see fit, and edit the condition reports/descriptions in a way that suits my approach (as an Australian, some minor tweaks to language make it more approachable). Cons The patient passwords and questionnaires have a tendency to expire, and there's no ability to change the date and phone number formats from USA format to "rest of the world" format. You can use t information whether you been in practice 30 years or just starting your practice it’s a gam changer to get the best outcomes for patients. Cons Cost. It should have a multi tiered level of cost as a new doctor in practice can least afford versus someone that has been in practice 3 years and up. Then reach the going rate. Pros This is the best tool I have found for patient condition reports. It is science based without being too complex. We use it in all of our Report of Findings. Great selection of rehab exercises. I also really love the summary of relevant research articles. It is so hard to keep up on that so having so many good studies there is super helpful! Cons Maybe a few more common languages. I once copied and pasted a report into google translate to get it into Vietnamese. Pros I like using the exercise and report generator to send to patients. I like the ability to look up conditions and send a synopsis of such to the patient. Cons I with there was a larger directory of conditions and exercises. If ChiroUp could be made into an in-depth EHR with scheduling and many other features of other EHRs, I'd be onboard in a heartbeat! Cons This may be way in the future, but if there was a way to integrate Chiroup as an add on to Jane App. Some softwares have started using AI to predict things you may need. For instance on PlayStation, when you are playing a game and you get stuck, the AI for the PS5 will automatically show you a video that can help you. So if you select a condition in Jane that you are treating a patient for, it would awesome if the condition would queue a response like "We see that your patient has supraspinatus tendinopathy, have you tried..." and then a recommended treatment is presented in a chat bubble. This may be beyond the tech capability at this point, but that would be a game changer if that became an integration in the future. The email that is sent out and the app are very professional and personalized for my practice. I have the rack cards they offer out in my lobby, they look great! It's just so easy to use and takes so much work away from me as the doctor. I was writing up exercise programs for every patient and was easily spending 20-30 minutes per patient now it takes me less than 5 minutes to send my patient a plethora of information, and research backed exercises for their specific condition! This literally saves me 5-8 hours a week where i can be focusing on patients or growing the practice Pros It's so easy to use and instantly adds so much value to the clinic and the patients. Cons I wish it were an all in one system with an EHR but it's currently not. It would be nice if they added a CRM or EHR or something else to simplify systems. Pros It takes all of the guessing work out of creating at home exercise programs and keeps me up to date on the best practices for treating and managing the most common musculoskeletal conditions. Cons The only thing I would improve is for the end user and have a function that reminded them to do their exercises. Incorporating a push notification to their device would be helpful. Patients enjoy seeing the videos and it makes the patients more compliant. The education section of the website is top notch Cons I wish it would show modifications of the stretches. Some of the stretches modified are great for patients that might not be able to do the full stretch or exercise, but are working up to that point.
