I like being able to have tours all digitally to keep track, and then convert families that have decided to join us. It is very easy to use. Cons My dislikes of CareDay are not being notified when a family has scheduled a tour, I would like to receive some type of notification that one has been scheduled to get it added to my calendar. I strictly use it for the enrollment tracking only and it is exactly what I was looking for. I can not tell you how many hours, tears, feelings of stress this platform has removed from my shoulders. If you are tired of spending HOURS or even DAYS on enrollment spreadsheets for the upcoming year this is your sign to schedule a call with them. This portion of the system alone has been my saving grace. Pros CareDay is super simple to use. The customer support is top-notch. I have never had an issue with the software not working or not updating correctly. Seeing at a glance what availability I have in my classrooms has been a game changer. The family and child management system is why I found CareDay in the first place. I was so tired of making spreadsheets that took 4-6 hours then realizing I forgot children in that spreadsheet. The seamlessness of CareDay is outstanding! I feel like the cost is fair. Cons I wish they were able to have the fingerprint system that Procare has. If they did I would use it for all our needs. This isn't really a con though. If my families were not already used to the fingerprint system I would completely switch fully to the CareDay platform. Plus, teachers have the creative freedom to enhance the curriculum with additional activities, which encourages creativity in lesson planning. The ability to tag activities to pictures is a game-changer! Parents can see exactly what skills each activity develops, making it easier for them to engage with their child's learning journey. Care Day also holds our teachers accountable by showing us how many activities have been completed each day through the manager dashboard—super helpful! Adding pictures and links directly into the curriculum is another fantastic feature. Teachers can easily access examples for activities without wasting time searching for resources. And it's great that parents have access to these links too; it allows learning to continue at home with songs and read-alouds that reinforce what’s being taught in school. Best of all, there’s no paid curriculum subscription required for CareDay! We can implement our own, which makes it cost-effective for our program. It has allowed us to increase our utilization rates while helping out as many families as possible. Parents have the opportunity to see if spots are available and confirm these bookings ahead of time, which gives them peace of mind that their child has care when they need it most. In July, families were able to book 71 additional days between our three centers! These added days made such a difference in helping us reach our goals when it comes to enrollment, and I am so thankful that CareDay helps us manage this scheduling option for our families. The biggest feature is having billing included in the app where we can process tuition but parents/customers can review their billings directly. Cons When adding tuition to rooms, it would be helpful to allow the admins to edit pricing for the room rather than deleting all pricing for the room and adding again. We looked at Brightwheel and Procare pretty heavily, but neither of those productsallowed us to maximize our enrollment. Our full-time children, called FTCs in CareDay, went from about72% full to around 98% in about 6 months’ time.CareDay also does a really good job of allowing me look across many centers at once to understandwhere I need to focus my time. The analytics are amazing and allowed me for the first time to makedata informed decisions.In addition to all of this, CareDay allows parents to buy unused days right from the app, has a vendorportal that allows parents to buy additional services for their children, and has a babysitting module thatallows parents to buy sitting services from our staff on nights and weekends.When you add this all up, CareDay helps me realize a significant financial reward for my non-stopworkday! Pros I love the extensive features CareDay has for our team as well as for our families. Prior to using CareDay, we were using 4 softwares to accomplish all the tasks we are able to use by switching to CareDay. On the parent side, CareDay handles everything from the time a family is touring until their child graduates from our school! Parents can easily access all their child's daily activities, communicate with the teachers, and see all the events happening at the center. From an administrative side, my team and I are seeing 4x the amount of productivity within our daily operations, and this efficiency (that has also eliminated an abundance of human error) is priceless! Cons There are no features is dislike when it comes to CareDay. If anything, every time I reach out to the CareDay team with ideas for feature enhancement, they are eager to jump on the task and are able to recreate our vision with more capabilities than we proposed! It is a fast working app that is wonderful with all things communication. Pros Overall Careday is wonderful for communicating a child's day to parents. It has the daily reports; which can include pictures, a messaging feature for easy communication with parents, drop off notes, allergies are displayed. There are so many amazing features Careday has to offer! Cons Any "issues" we have had with Careday has been resolved in a timely manner. " March 22, 2024 5.0 I love this so much more than any competitive app, and in my opinion, there is no competition to the ease of using Careday and how critical it is to put daily use. Pros I love the ease of using the app and how there are so many things that the app covers. Careday allows me to see scheduling, which kiddo has an allergy, any medications a child uses, and be able to filter potties, photos, naps, notes ECT. I love that it really has everything on there! Cons As a teacher, I would say I like least how many photos you are able to select at one time to post, BUT in the grand scheme of things, that is so miniscule.
