"Chat gpt is like an academic personal assistant"

**Overall:** Amazing- started paying for chat gpt plus about a year ago- I am constantly asking it questions like how to use various computer software

**Pros:** loved chat GPT plus, helped me with my phd when i needed help but couldn't constantly be emailing my supervisor. Love how easy it is and more advanced it is getting and available on the go.

**Cons:** Price for Plus subscription, sometimes the conversation lags when it gets too long and if you start a new conversation it won't remember the context

"Well worth your time-avoid rabbit holes"

**Overall:** Overall experience is phenomenal. It was the first of its kind (to my knowledge anyway) and is ground breaking. I plan to have it work with me to produce a book.

**Pros:** I appreciate the learning curve, while it could be steep, not making me feel like I couldn't complete it. You can search and find prompts almost anywhere. It's easy to just have your own "trial and error" to utilize it to the best of your own personal ability. I also truly appreciate the fact that it saves all you've done automatically.

**Cons:** The lack of personal feelings and emotions. While I understand it has a computer mind versus human, it can be more difficult for a "feeler" to be okay with some of the things it produces.
