Our office went through a lot of stress and frustration while trying to use ThriveCloud. We were told that Thrivecloud has everything inside the system but in reality a lot of third parties involved. As a new users we were promised support anytime needed.In reality it was quite opposite. We came across a lot of issues with this program and when contacted technical support team they will tell you what they need time to investigate the problem and will contact you later. At the end they will blame you for not paying enough attention during the training sessions and suggest to watch demo videos to learn how to help yourself. The X-rays were transferred from the Eaglesoft not in order and were never fixed. They failed a few times to install electronic prescription. We lost a lot of time and funds on them and were very lucky to cancel ThriveCloud on time and go back to Eaglesoft. Overall our experience with ThriveCloud was extremely negative.

Pros

Good selling strategy of the representative. They know how to present and sell their product to you.

Cons

Over promising and underperforming. Unprofessional technical support team. Blaming the customer and not being able to resolve the issue.

It represents a good value. Tech support is responsive. Local representative is on the ball and helpful!

Pros

User friendly. Staff likes the program. The transition from Carestream was pretty good. Most information made it in one piece!

Cons

Radiographs needed a fair amount of tweaking to get dialed in. Advise using Dexis sensors. They have more trouble with Carestream.

Overall experience was satisfactory. I like how they communicate. Hopefully, they improve the issues I brought up.

Pros

value for money, customer support are great. Charting and scheduling are intuitive and easy to use. So far so good.

Cons

Lack of linking to an external scheduling service. Not much to say since I do not have experience with other cloud based EHR.

Extremely positive. Continuously improving overtime, fast customer seeing and issues addressed immediately

Pros

All inclusive and affordability. Best possible on the market. Easy to disseminate paperwork for consent forms. Collecting fees is a click away and automatically updates the ledger. Patients are able to use the same interface through their side of the portal.

Cons

Individually marking teeth on the tooth chart vs. multiple teeth with multiple surfaces addressed for restorations

Overall experience has been good and its is good value for the money. Our staff has been able to navigate the software with ease.

Pros

The things that we like most about ThriveCloud is the ease of use and the user interface, which is very intuitive.

Cons

There have been issues in the beginning, but the ThriveCloud team was on it and able to resolve with minimal downtime

Overall, I have been using ThriveCloud very well. I was looking for a cloud-based dental program that can be customized to what our office needs. ThriveCloud was just the answer. We could customize everything and anything. I am able to access schedules and answer patients' questions/concerns on my phone anywhere.

Pros

It is very user-friendly. Many features that makes work flow smooth and easy but also not too complicated that we are struggling to use it. Customer support has been good and efficient. They have tutorial for all the features that makes it very easy to use. Great value for money spent.

Cons

Due to it being cloud, which is inevitable, sometimes it does have bad time of updates and issues that could interfere with our work flow. BUT, thrivecloud team had been working hard to fix any problems in most timely manner and make sure that we are not faced with too much difficulty during our work hours.

The company wants to make their doctors happy, which is a plus. I feel our account matters to us and they have been receptive to making changes to their program base on our input.

Pros

Thrive cloud has good customer support and integrated well with our digital xrays. Their charting is well thought out and customizing the progress notes are definitely a plus. I do feel that currently it is a good value. Billing is also easier.

Cons

I feel you need to press too many buttons to get where you need to be. They've preloaded a prompt for post and core where the core code is separate and the system keeps wanting to input the code. I need to keep canceling this out, which is annoying.

We went live with Thrive around June 25th and were very excited and hopeful. Five months later we're looking to switch back to our previous PMS. The limitations of Thrive have severely negatively impacted our practice.

Pros

\- Rescheduling appointments is easy. - We can view the entire schedule on the screen. - Conversation notes and chart notes are available together. - Patient Background notes show at the bottom of the Dental Chart page.

Cons

\- Payment allocations in the ledger. - The speed of pages loading. - Almost everything about the Case Presenter. - Accuracy (or lack thereof) of analytics. - Lack of training at the beginning, lack of training resources/tools, lack of knowledge of support representatives.

So far so good. It somehow meets all the demands of our practice.

Pros

So far, ThriveCloud has one of the best Software and Client Specialist(s). The Filipino staff are very considerate to return our call(s) IF and when we cannot reach anyone on the phone to help us out. They make sure our issues are all resolved. IF and when there are "new" glitches that comes up, they do a courtesy call and eMail to give us a heads up. We really appreciate it

Cons

The minute time lapses when we click/switch from one feature to the other.

How quickly tickets are answered, cloud base is more efficient and all around easy to maneuver

I enjoy it very much and wouldn't trade it for the old Practice web ever!!!

Pros

Overall look and ease of navigation and functionality. And it can be accessed from anywhere!!!

Cons

It's a bit of a learning curve. But that's expected with new technology. We were one of the first dental offices to use this software so we have seen all the new developments as they came along. The fact that it's cloud based is a bit of headache it can crash and log you out in the middle of handling something important

It has been frustrating that we have issues arise on a weekly basis that interfere with our office flow and efficiency. Some aspects of Thrive that were advertised didn't work out. For example, the real-time eligibility doesn't actually work with all insurances which the two biggest insurances we work with aren't on there so we don't even use it.

Pros

Thrive has a lot of potential to become a good cloud software. If everything worked perfectly it would be great software but it doesn't always.

Cons

There are a lot of problems that arise. The software isn't completely streamlined to work well consistently. We have been with them for over a year and still have problems. They always try to put them blame on us for the problem until we take them step by step and show them it is not us. Customer service used to be very responsive but is now much slower to respond.
