### "Brightsquid, our best tool for security compliance!"

Pros

The confidence of secure communication with our patients and colleagues. The support the provide whenever necessary is amazing, efficient and with quick results.

Cons

The colleagues that try to gain access when setting up their accounts with us, the automated choice of a clinic to join results in the person trying to join our clinic.

Reason for choosing Brightsquid

The ability to contact and converse with patients not just colleagues. The opportunity for patients to contact us without having us to initiate the conversation.

We have always received great customer support and the system performs exceptionally well.

Pros

It is simple to set patients up in the system. The templates allow us to quickly send forms, reminders, and other information. Once paperwork is complete, it is simple to access to add to files.

Cons

It would be great if there was an appointment reminder system that did not have to be integrated into a billing system.

Good - we use it a ton and most patients enjoy it. It's a flood gate when patients have this access .

Pros

It gives patient a secure way to message the health care team.

Cons

It's a beast - we have to limit hours of operation as pts will send 911 messages. It is most difficult for older people for sure.

Ease of use compared to other products. A free product from our national association also works but is clumsy by comparison.

Cons

Bulk mailing to other health professionals is not as easy as the bulk mailing to patients

Reason for choosing Brightsquid

Works much better than Canadian Dental Association's product

Instant messaging could be added as many patients respond to text faster than email

Need more options or a spot to add your own option on the drop down boxes when sending info to other professionals

I am happy that I have a product that I can trust to provide a secure portal for my patients. The important features are readily available so I don't have to spend extra time figuring things out. And it's been clear enough that my staff have incorporated it into their workflows.

Pros

I like that the interface is clean and the site is responsive. They have cleared sought user feedback to have useful features at the forefront.

Cons

It look a few attempts to get my templates working the way I wanted them. I wished there was a "Preview" function so I could see how things looked, rather than saving the template, going back to it, re-editing, saving, then going back, etc.
