The platform provides a structured, centralized approach to managing complex severance, performance and mutual separations, and offboarding processes that were previously manual, fragmented, and difficult to scale. It brings much‑needed visibility, consistency, and governance to workflows involving HR Operations, Legal, Payroll, Finance, and Workforce teams, helping ensure alignment across all stakeholders.

Pros

Purpose‑built for complex severance and offboarding Onwards HR is designed specifically for managing severance workflows, which makes it far more effective than generic or manual tools when handling high‑risk, time‑sensitive separations involving multiple stakeholders. Strong structure, visibility, and governance The platform provides a centralized system of record with clear workflows, approvals, and auditability. This level of structure brings consistency and transparency to processes that were previously fragmented across teams and systems. Excellent cross‑functional collaboration Onwards HR enables effective collaboration across HR Operations, Legal, Payroll, Finance, and Workforce teams through role‑based access, shared visibility, notes, and documentation, reducing reliance on manual coordination and follow‑ups. Handles scale and complexity well The tool performs especially well for large population events and complex severance scenarios, supporting reporting, recalculations, and compliance considerations without sacrificing control or accuracy.
