It generates code based on your coding style. Copilot has helped me to save a lot of my time since it generates recurring code. With just the press of tab i can complete my whole code. Copilot is able to generate personalized code with the repository. It becomes familiar with the existing code very easily and can predict code for multiple language and frameworks which makes me quiet productive as a developer. Cons Copilot sometimes creates complex codes which becomes harder to debug or understand, also it is not free and our development team is quiet small so we have to either share or use it in a limited way as it becomes costly for us. It creates generic errors which later can be harder to debug, and sometimes not match with types and schema. It is very easy to integrate with you Code editor, i use Visual Studio code. Also, the pricing of the software is quiet decent, its worth spending every penny. It also provides free plan if you are a student. My productivity is almost double after i use copilot. It also helps to fix your code. You can build your projects much faster and efficiently. Cons There are no major cons that i have found against github copilot but i strongly suggest not to use it by beginners because it would make your coding habit worse. It has significantly help in coding speed. I would say the experience could be better but it is not that hard to use the product. Yes it has been a good experience to use copilot which has made the business process better. Cons As of now i am still getting hang of the product so i would not say there are any missing features. As for improvement, generating high quality codes which are of coding standards can be improved. As i am learning there is not much to say about the difficulty in use. I love this. Since I have also worked as a Laravel Developer, I can confirm that Copilot makes your programming life easier and faster. It's actually intelligent and gives me proper lines of code in matter of seconds. Cons Copilot can sometimes be hit or miss. Sometimes it just doesn't work or provides irrelevant codes.
