The reason that prompted me to leave this review is I need to tell all business owners that are thinking about purchasing an organization team and multiple seats how terrible their billing department handles refunds. We purchased seat amounts for the year and then had a few business changes within 3 days of purchasing that impacted seat usability. I then requested a PRORATED refund knowing it would be unreasonable to request a refund for used tokens, and in turn they responded multiple times saying they will not make an exception to the situation. Make a note when you are about to choose seats that this is how they handle it. Pros I absolutely love the system, it has helped immensely as a multi-tool for business. It seemed robust, particularly when code or analysis was requested, and it didn't have the fawning sycophancy or thin skin that ChatGPT often displays. I signed up for a paid month quickly and dove in on several projects. My initial impression quickly soured as Claude began posing quick message limits, particularly if the conversation did not resolve in a few posts. This was particularly annoying as a paid user. In one particularly bad example, it literally stalled several times, asking unnecessary questions or apologizing when called out for asking unnecessary questions rather than offering an answer. When it finally answered, that answer was objectively wrong, inconsistent with prior chat context, and triggered the exceeded message limit. I had to wait a day and start an entirely new window to get it to generate the 81 possible combinations for a training game we were creating. I have since canceled my paying membership. I will use Claude personally for free from time to time, but I will not be paying for business use again any time soon. Pros The coding feature is nice. Claude has a good grasp on a wide array of topics. Claude is not as sensitive as ChatGPT in terms of giving it feedback to keep it on track (ChatGPT routinely deletes my negative feedback as violating its terms of use, although it will still respond). Cons Message limits are set too low even for paid customers to make Claude of any real use. Claude showed similar problems as other AIs in terms of making really dumb mistakes. At one point, it literally miscounted the number of correct answer choices in a 35 question quiz that was spread over 4 possible choices (i.e., it literally couldn't count single digits correctly). I decided not to pay for another platform that would lock me into certain types and looks for my website for my private practice. Instead, I went with the coding route, knowing little to know thing about coding. This is allowed me to create a website, easily updated and not spend a lot of money on website design. Cons Coming from a background of not knowing much about coding it definitely had a large learning curve. It is definitely meant for the population that uses coding every day and as a result, they have tiered memberships that sometimes reduce the amount that you’re able to do in one day unless you pay for a larger membership as a private practice owner, I am busy and typically I’m able to move on once I hit those limits until I know I can come back to it, but it still becomes frustrating if I am trying to get a project done quickly. Ask Claude AI to keep digging, and it will get you exactly what you need to reduce your time as an administrator so you can actually be 15 times more productive. Not every answer is definitive, so if you want a more detailed explanation, Claude AI shows the most current and detailed information from all the AI software programs I have tried, and I have tried many. Pros I own and operate a Tax Resolution firm. I have between 8 and 10 business software programs, and I use Claude AI for personal reasons as well. I have Claude AI investigate SEC filings; a lot of stock trading information is available for public review, but Claude AI pulls it all in seconds. Most importantly, Claude AI has helped me put together a real business plan to leverage AI and save countless hours each day by integrating it with MS Office, Slack, DocuSign, Chrome, and more. I have tried Co-Pilot, ChatGPT, and half a dozen others, and I have made the choice to move from the free version to the Max 5x which costs $100 a month, but is worth every cent, just in Excel workbooks and creating, or repairing formulas, helping me build a website, its possibilities in reducing my adminstrative work by setting up workflows are endless and comparible to none of the others as of 8-13-2026, Claude AI is the 5 star winner!
