I think this was likely due moreso to the grant side of things, though, so it's hard to consider that a negative on the software. Pros It is easy to use. It is not the only option available, but it serves its purpose well. It is easier for many users than access. It is a great product and we couldn't be happier! Pros The best feature is organization your grant opportunities by deadline--this makes it so much easier to manage my time and stay on task with all the grants we need to keep track of! I really like the reporting options that the program generates. The ability to retain documents, timelines, and grant details and they can be shared with the various team members is a big step up from spreadsheets and Google docs. Cons It is unfortunate that the data exports and visualization are part of the upgraded experience. I think they integrate with the core free product really well. I tried the prospecting tool and the funder search but found them to be lacking in explanation on how to use effectively. The trial period also offered only so many searches before blocking out the option which felt really limiting when you are trying to get used to the software to determine if you want to pay for continuing to use it. Pros As a grant writer I find the software to be very user friendly. The support is as good as the granting agencies have available but I have not had any major issues and the directors and steps are very clear. Cons The autofill for the login does not always recognize the passwords especially when there are multiple accounts or multiple granting agencies that I have used. Review Source PS Peter S. I only registered for an account to apply for a specific grant, and only had the free trial. Pros This is hard to say. I signed up for an account for the purpose of applying for a specific grant. The application never worked correctly, and I never finished it, and my free trial expired. Cons The grant I was seeking that was utilizing Fluxx was overwhelmed and I was never able to apply. The graphs and charts are great and my board loves seeing them in my reports. Cons The only downside is having to log into a separate platform, but that's to be expected.
