I am happy for finding safari portal Pros Easy fast and well designed itineraries. Totally recommended Cons There was not enough material already uploaded for areas and hotels. Also no ferry options which is something we commonly book for travelers. August 29, 2024 5.0 I've worked in the travel industry for over 20 years and haven't come across such a brilliant system. I have been most impressed with how quickly it took me to find my way around Safari Portal. It is very easy to use and offers everything you could want in an itinerary builder. The task manager is just fabulous and it means not missing any deadlines. For me what makes it, is the wonderful photography, clean layout and pre loaded information. I was delighted that I received a booking during my two week trial, so immediately signed up and haven't regretted it since. I actually get excited putting together new itineraries and love how quickly I can put together a look book. I know that Safari Portal will save me time and help me covert more bookings. Pros I love that it is so visual with beautiful photography, the descriptions are well written, it is well laid out, easy to use and it is so time saving. Having the task manager is almost like having an online PA Cons I would like in the Classic itinerary to be able to add flights and transfers in the initial quote rather than having to add them to the guest portal once the clients have booked. We agree that being able to add in flights in the same way you can in Calendar builder in Classic would be great but unfortunately this is not logistically possible for a number of reasons, however you can add them in the guest portal. " December 18, 2023 5.0 Pros I like the clean style of the portal and itineraries. It is easy to send clients details about places they wish to go as well as pictures and images, and sometimes videos, as the clients can envision their trip. Cons The cost of Safari Portal is way too high considering others are charging less. I do not like the way you can not "confirm" a lookbook, it has to be an itinerary. Sometimes, clients just want information of where they are going, and the beauty of inserting dates and details for that is great, however it can not be confirmed. We are proud to offer such a robust tool to the industry. Regarding your concerns, it would be great to reconnect with you about best practices on when to utilize a lookbook versus an itinerary. Even at a proposal stage with a client, you could create a proposal itinerary (with or without dates) and then easily confirm that itinerary in our platform when your clients are ready. Pros I like the ease of use and how the quotations look so professional. The flight API for loading flight times is such a huge time saver. Cons I would love to see some type of capability to export the tours and/or the ability to enter costs into each element so that it keeps a running total for you, and then then add in a percentage commission. I also think that the "CRM" could be beefed out more to provide more information within the portal. I absolutely love it, and better yet, my clients are impressed by how good it looks! Pros I love how easy and quick it is to create stunning lookbooks and itineraries. I wanted to speed up my proposal and itinerary creation while making them look more professional and polished. Now, they look high-end and feel like they represent an actual luxury travel service that I provide. Cons Initially, the cost made me hesitant to consider Safari Portal, but the generous discounted rate feels very reasonable, and I literally use SP every day all of the time. It also has allowed me to consolidate other providers and just use one platform now for proposal and itinerary creation. The first itinerary I put together for a client confirmed right away and one of their first compliments was how great the itinerary presentation was! Cons Ugh. As a one person agency, it’s not cheap.
