I find it very easy to navigate such as searching previously reconciled items as well as being able to order information and export very effectively. Pros I find extremely well built for our company use as well as being easy to navigate. I encounter very little problems with this system and if I ever do the customer service is very efficient and good in fixing any issues. Cons Overall I dont have any dislikes with Aurum solutions, I cant really think of any improvements for reporting or our companies use. We went from high-level checks to precise, line-by-line reconciliation with ease. The software is powerful, but the support team is the standout feature. The support we received during the implementation phase was fantastic, ensuring the system was set up exactly how we needed it. Crucially, the post-implementation support has remained just as responsive and helpful. Cons We have no complaints about the software. Our only challenge was internal adoption, but Aurum’s team provided the necessary training support to help us manage the change effectively. They make life easier and all (especially bigger companies) should use their automation features. Pros Aurum Solutions reduced the month-end closing time by helping our finance team with PSP reconciliations, and revenue-posting directly to our accounting system. Their customer support is quick with the replies and helping us fix the bugs. Cons Currently there is a VPN connection needed to access Aurum, which might take a bit of time. Our team primarily utilizes the Reconciliation Tool to compile daily cash-to-bank reconciliations, and the Financial Reporting Tool to prepare our CMAR reports. As the system administrator for my company, I have found Aurum to be highly flexible and adaptable—its capabilities are truly limited only by your ideas. For instance, when we first started using the system, reconciliations were done manually. After discussions with the Aurum team, we were able to implement automated rules that handle a significant portion of the matching process. This improvement has greatly increased efficiency, saved time, and reduced human error. Overall, Aurum has proven to be a powerful and user-friendly solution that continues to evolve alongside our business needs. Pros One of the greatest strengths of Aurum, in my experience, is its exceptional customer support. Having worked with numerous reconciliation tools throughout my career, I can confidently say that Aurum’s support team stands out as truly outstanding. Whenever we propose a new idea or ask whether Aurum can accommodate a specific requirement, we have yet to receive a “no.” The team is always willing to collaborate — we simply schedule a call with the relevant people, and the task gets completed efficiently. I couldn’t ask for a better level of support or partnership. Cons While our overall experience with Aurum has been highly positive, one area that could be improved is the implementation process for new software versions. This feedback is in no way a reflection of the customer support team, who are consistently excellent and extremely helpful. Pros We have been using Arum solutions for our nominal ledger reconciliations for just over a year and from implementation through to their customer support we have been blown away. Their attention to detail through implementation and training has made us quite self sufficient, but any time we reach out with a question, the team cannot do enough to help us. Since implementation we are seeing the efficiency gains in our day to day operations, allowing us to add real value elsewhere in the business. Pros The application itself is clean and aesthetically pleasing. The ability to create your own match rules gives end users the freedom to design the rules to suit our requirements. Having a clear audit is a must for any regulated business, and Aurum does just that. The post implementation support provided by Aurum is first class, always keeping me informed of progress with an issue. Cons There was little to dislike about the product and support team. During implementation the developers learned about our business and worked together to come up with sensible business rules for reconciling the data. It allows me to access the information that I need quickly. We have set up other accounts that require reconciliation other than bank, and it works well. Pros Ability to extract data using many different filters. Easy to set up new reconciliation accounts that use the same feeds, just different data Cons Can't enter new items without coming out of the account. This is not a showstopper just a minor annoyance.
