What stood out for us is the RM's sharp technical knowledge with eye for detail, ensuring that no aspect of compliance is overlooked. From the initial assessment to the final certification milestone, she provided thoughtful direction, proactive support, and consistently clear communication—instilling confidence and clarity at every step. Scrut platform, coupled with the RM's advisory approach is reassuring with a continuous compliance mechanism and not treating it as a one-time exercise.

Pros

Scrut has been a reliable partner throughout our ISO certification journey, bringing both expertise and a level of diligence to every stage of the process. What could have been an overwhelming and complex process was transformed into a seamless, well-guided experience.

Cons

Some bit of the UX tweak would be helpful and feedback where necessary was given from time to time. 1) All the customized policies should have a downloadable & editable option to make it more personalized as per company branding & for future reviews. 2) For training campaign, those who are pending to complete it should only be sent a reminder for completion. Currently, all those who have completed the training also get the reminder which creates confusion.

Cons

One thing I liked least about Scrut Automation was that the initial setup and onboarding process felt a bit overwhelming. There are many features and configurations, which can take some time to fully understand and utilize effectively without proper guidance

Pros

What I liked most about Scrut Automation was its strong focus on solving real-world compliance challenges through automation and intelligent workflows. The company’s mission to simplify security and compliance for growing businesses stood out to me, as it combines technology with a clear customer impact. I appreciated the fast-paced startup environment where innovation, ownership, and collaboration were encouraged. Teams were empowered to experiment, share ideas, and continuously improve the product. I also admired the leadership’s vision and the emphasis on building scalable solutions that help organizations manage frameworks like SOC 2 and ISO more efficiently, making compliance less complex and more accessible for modern companies.

Cons

One thing I would say about Scrut Automation is that, like many fast-growing startups, the environment moves very quickly and priorities can evolve as the product and market needs develop. While this can sometimes require teams to adapt rapidly, I see it as a natural part of working in a high-growth company. It actually provided a great opportunity to learn how to stay flexible, collaborate closely with different teams, and handle changing requirements effectively. Overall, I didn’t view it as a negative experience, but rather as a valuable learning environment that helped me grow professionally while contributing to meaningful work in the compliance automation space.

Overall, my experience with Scrut Automation has been positive, particularly in streamlining compliance workflows and reducing manual effort. However, improvements in stability—especially within cloud testing—and enhanced customization capabilities would make the platform more robust and enterprise-ready.

Pros

Scrut Automation significantly reduces the effort required for certification and compliance processes. The platform offers a user-friendly interface, making it easy to navigate and understand various controls and requirements without a steep learning curve.

Cons

There are noticeable issues in the cloud testing module, where multiple bugs impact usability and reliability. Additionally, the platform would benefit from more advanced customization options to better align with diverse organizational needs.

Responsive, helpful and supportive. With Ashish as our contact our compliance journey was well structured as we worked on a accelerated schedule (having had to deprioritize this effort last year due to customer commitment). Scrut teams combined support helped us to navigate through many a infra automation scenarios with ease.

Pros

Consistent engagement to ensure customer success. End to end ownership and help complementing customer efforts leading to predictable success outcomes.

Cons

while our interaction with scrut has been very productive I would request Scrut to consider early stage startups for a more competitive pricing as our infra setup is not complex to warrant for the current premiums.

It has been a positive experience all around. It keeps everything organized and greatly aids in managing compliance without requiring a lot of manual labor. It's helpful for monitoring security controls and remaining audit ready. Overall, it performs well, albeit there are a few areas that may use improvement.

Pros

The fact that it consolidates all aspects of compliance in one location is what I found most appealing. The dashboard provides a clear picture of our current state in terms of controls and audits and is simple to use. Particularly for tracking and gathering evidence, the automated component significantly reduces manual labor.

Cons

Certain integrations require manual setup and are not very seamless. Additionally, the initial setup is a little time-consuming, particularly when mapping controllers. When handling additional data, the platform occasionally feels a little sluggish.

We used Scrut Automation at WotNot to achieve our SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certifications. It's a solid compliance platform backed by a great support team. A smoother UX and more pre-built templates would make it even better, but the human support — especially from \[sensitive content hidden\] — more than made up for it. Would recommend to any team starting their compliance journey.

Pros

Scrut Automation offers strong value for the price — getting SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certified through a single platform would typically require significant time and consulting spend, and Scrut made it noticeably more affordable and efficient. \[sensitive content hidden\] was exceptional throughout — responsive, knowledgeable, and made the entire compliance journey feel well-guided. Great bang for the buck overall.

Cons

The platform navigation can feel clunky at times and isn't always intuitive to find what you need. Would also love to see more ready-to-use policy and control templates out of the box to speed up the early stages. Also out of the box support for Oracle cloud would be nice.

Excellent, the team was very professional and guided us all the way through the certification process. Being a startup we did not want very burdensome administrative process, which is exactly what we experienced.

Pros

There platform is really good, it makes the process very easy specially for SMEs with small teams. The team was very professional and guided us all the way. From sales to certification, everyone we interacted with were good professionals.

Cons

The quality of policies and processes tend to be generic in nature, this is not really an issue with Scrut as they do give an option for you to customize.
