This adds up to a huge savings for my agency Pros Castmagic's Magic Chat allows me to customize the service to my needs. I can format my automated responses and get 95% of the way to perfect show notes, chapter markers, and other written assets to accompany every one of the shows I produce Cons If I had to be super nit-picky (and this is definitely nit-picky), they don't plug into the API of the podcast host that I use for most of the shows I produce (Buzzsprout) so I have to copy and paste my show notes and other assets in manually Switched from [Otter](https://www.capterra.com/p/202799/Otter/) The Otter transcript requires a person to edit it, it's almost completely unreadable in its initial form Review Source CC Chris C. It's heaven! Castmagic came out at the perfect time and is literally my favorite tool on the planet. The team are awesome and the product works. What else could you as for! Pros What I love most about Castmagic is the versatility of the software. I can use it for podcasting, coaching, as a sales content and more. I can use their Magic Chat feature and have full control over the type of assets I want. I can research what top creators are doing and build a strategy on that. It's fast, easy to use, easy to promote, all the new features are welcome and they work. There are no bugs. The iOS app is revolutionary and helps me channel my ideas. Castmagic is a tool that is fulfilling all my needs right now. Cons What I like least about Castmagic is the ability to download the assets I've created. At the moment you can copy and paste or download files via CSV. As well as being able to import from YouTube or Zapier, the options to export to other locations like WordPress or even social media would be great as I'd be able to streamline even more of my workflow. If you have a podcast, Castmagic is a very useful tool to help streamline your marketing efforts. Pros Castmagic has quickly become one of the key tools in my podcast production workflow. The transcripts it produces are excellent and the automatic marketing content it gives (e.g. twitter threads, show notes, quotes) are really useful. Cons Really hard to find any issues. I tried using it on my mobile this morning and it wasn't great but that is a rare use case for me. " September 15, 2023 5.0 If you've read this far, I can't imagine I need to say more. But I will say just ONE more thing: I don't think it's a coincidence that the \[sensitive content hidden\] Pros Easy to use. Continuously getting better. Responsive and helpful leadership/ownership team. And just freakin' delivers. It honestly hadn't occurred to me just how darn good the solution is until I started completing this review... when something "just delivers... and more," it's all too easy to take those finds for granted. The ones that "WOW" are too-often a "heavy-on-the-sizzle, light-on-the-substance" delivery that you can just tell won't withstand the test of time... and obviously those that fall short self-identify rather quickly just the same. Rare are those solutions that represent, metaphorically, the officials in a Super Bowl game who you never really notice... because they were key to making the whole thing run smoothly, got the "big stuff" right -- and even the small stuff no one noticed -- and made sure that, through their great work, the spotlight was always focused squarely on the output of what they helped facilitate, rather than for even a split second making it about them. That's, ahem... Cast\[ing\]Magic. Cons Not so much a "like least," but rather just a worry... which is that I hope they'll be able to maintain the elegance in the tool's simplicity and ease-of-use as they continue to expand its capabilities. Once I have these I feed them into omnichannel publishing tools and let them fly. I load them into my programmed emails and fill up my publishing calendar for email touches and/or newsletter feeds. Frankly, I'm torn re: more people using it...I want the company to soar yet I want to look like a genius to my clients and once word gets out, I'll be uncovered. Pros 1\. The quality and quantity of AI-generated marketing content assets suitable for instantly promoting a show2. The incredible access you have to the Executive Team through their SLACK community. Plus the community is incredibly helpful to one another3. The ability to build your own marketing content asset with a built in ChatGPT-like prompt tool called MagicChat4. The number of inputs beyond audio files from a podcast. Cons 1\. Affiliate program is still gestating and they lack strong performing affiliate assets. Whenever I've reached out with a question, I've had such a quick and helpful response. The customer service has been fabulous. Pros Content creation was starting to get very laborious, especially with a podcast needing to be sliced and diced into various parts. I found Castmagic and it's been like having an extra pair of hands! It's really helped me enjoy the process again and complement my creative side. Transcriptions, titles, keywords, speaker bios, time stamps, show notes, and more – Castmagic's got it all. Other pros...they are adding new features just when I need them. And their customer service is amazing. Cons I really can't complain about anything, I have had a great experience using Castmagic. I got a few months in and upgraded because it was really useful. Pros I love that I can deploy the standard AI prompts quickly but also have the option to modify or create my own prompts all with my own content. It makes creating podcast intro and show notes, along with all promotional content, much quicker, saving me several hours a week. I also run my coaching sessions through Castmagic which provides clarity when multiple subjects were discussed and I can quickly provide a summary for my client. Cons As with most transcription, it's not perfect, and the voice recognition isn't always accurate, but updates are released constantly and most of them are things I didn't even know I needed until they arrived.
