### "It’s a scam"

Worst experience, crapy software, in responsive customer service and unethical policies.

Pros

Nothing much. Just that I signed up and they were successful to fool me to buy credits to process large document.

Cons

Within one question I knew this tool is crap. I asked to refund my $22 I spent. And they said there is no refund policy. How is that possible in todays day and time.

I am using it for company database chatbot for employees.

Pros

The product looks very nice and chatbots answer very fast. Great for demo chatbots.

Cons

I use it for knowledge base chatbot and I can't get it to answer new questions correctly that haven't been answered before. I've made the knowledge abse cleaner and retrained it but it hallucinates quite a bit. Maybe it's because it uses GPT 3,5 turbo, maybe it's because I'm using it in another language than English, I don't know.

Pros

It did an okay job learning the material given to it. It may have been viable if we continued to train it.

Cons

No customer support. I emailed several times to get help. I was trying to add another user to the business account. Should be simple. Then I tried to cancel, and got no response. Just terrible customer experience.

\- word count on training- messagesare a bit expensive- doesn't have the option to switch from messages to words (instead of pricing per messages per words used)

I think it's effective and helpful in navigation our website as well as key ideas about our organization!

Cons

It can answer things incorrectly or out of context at time! Overall not a major concern but could misconstrue our message!

Pros

The ease to set this up is so easy, very easy to configure and get established.The support is exceptional. So far very impressed

Cons

Its not really don't like but im still learning how to prompt ChatGpt (therefore chatbase) to provide the most effective answers

Pros

Ability to teach chatbot proper responses, automate the training process, automatically fetch links from the website

Cons

Not being able to define ability to reprhase user's prompts, e.g. user asks "How much is XXX" and you ask chatbot to answer such question as if it was "Present XXX pricing in less than 100 signs".This way I do not provide alternative answer to a particular prompt from a user which may easily become outdated but make sure that the answer is answered more properly every time I change source material for the chatbot.

Pros

Chatbase is very easy to integrate into websites. Loading your own data into the system is also very accessible, making it a great tool for custom client solutions.

Cons

The overall pricing model is a bit clunky, and overall we were struggling to make it work beyond more hobbyist use cases. I also found a lot of issues around basic questions such as "business hours" but this has more to do with OpenAI integration than Chatbase.

Still learning, and happy to have the time saving tech!!

Pros

I found chatbot easy to use, and update as needed. I'm a fist time user of AI chat tech, so I cannot compare it to any others, however, I haven't found the need to look around.

Cons

I lacked the knowhow to use the product effectively at first. But you tube!!

Pros

Chatbase is great for putting your raw information in use. Rather than having to create dialog flows and prepare your information for conversational purposes, with this chat you’re up and running in minutes.

Cons

Despite the base prompt there have been cases in which information was retrieved or shared outside of the material the bot was trained on, resulting in wrong answers. A little unpredictable so that impacts how the chatbot can be used.

Pros

I used Chatbase to demonstrate how powerful LLM based chat can be. Within 24 hours another colleague had implemented Chatbase for his company.

Cons

I am not sure how we integrate Chatbase with more complex customer journeys.
