Pros SNF Metrics is very easy to use. Coming from someone who used this type of tool on paper to utilizing this tool simplifies the process dramatically. Its faster, easier and not a problem to use. Cons The only con i have is when I’m in attachments and opening an attachment, the window that opens is in the same window i am in. So if i close the window I close out the program and not just the attachment. I have to remember to use the back button to get back to the report, which is not typical of opening windows or hyperlinks. Review Source AH Amy H. There should be a way to trigger the person initiating the incident report to complete it. No only leave it up to the DON Pros It gives multiple areas that different nurses can chart. As well as attaching documents. Cons There are to many options to choose from. It should change based on the reason for the incident. Pros The pull down menus make completing the form a breeze. All of the info is pre-populated and makes finding the names of the personnel easy when you are not sure of the exact spelling. Cons Some of the sections that have an answer that is required do not have a choice that I would pick. Some extra "other" boxes with a fill-in-the-field section would be helpful. The whole system is built with the understanding of what each department needs and it is super helpful. Pros It it extremely organized and there are many reports that helps me understand how the homes are doing financially and gives me a clear print out of the financial aspect of each payer and all residents.
