SketchWow Reviews
Pros
Pros about SketchWow are the pricing, the assets you receive from each update that can be used, the user friendliness of creating much more fun pieces for slides/presentations.
Quality and variety of images is quite good and getting better all the time. I like the variety of customization tools.
I like the hand drawn style of designs that you can create as they look different to other popular design tools like Canva. It helps to make my offer stand out visually and looks super custom.
Bought it on a whim as it was such a good price and it’s been amazing. Have used it in presentations where it got great feedback as well as diagrams and informatics.
Cons
Most of my initial complaints have already been fixed with the updates.
SketchWow Elimenates and Destorys Weak Communications.
There are not enough templates out there but that keeps growing with the updates, so no real cons as far as Im concerned.
I have no idea if either are technically possible.
"Far from stagnate"
Overall: The SketchWow team are constantly and happily adding new and extended features. Even thought the templates offer quick and easy solutions, the toolkit used well allows for unique and meaningful styles.
Pros: Light-hearted and friendly diagrams and presentations. This makes training and presentations more acceptable and presentable to those with a sense of humor and a desire to communicate with skill and thoughtfulness.
Cons: It is being used for spammy social media ads. The well-designed templates are used so they are obviously created using SketchWow. The downside of this in my opinion is that it is so quick and easy to use that the same templates appear everywhere. Another con is that some too serious business types do not appreciate the unique and personal messages that are possible.
"An application that offers a WOW effect for your customers."
Overall: Starting a new role as an information systems architect in my organization, I quickly found that the tools for diagramming were hard to learn, you're always fighting to align arrows on icons and often the icons move when you change a little thing. What's more, the visual rendering is relatively boring to watch. I wasn't actively looking for a new product, but one day, a SketchWow ad appeared on Facebook and I went to check out the site. Well, at first I tried to find out whether it was web-based or not, but it's an application that you install on your PC. I had in mind to edit my schematics with a tablet and a pencil, but I realized that wasn't going to be the case. I wrote to support and was told it would come for tablet support... So I said to myself, there's hope! I evaluated the price and found that the risk of a trial was not very high, and on top of that, you can get a refund. In the end, I've had the product for about 1 year and I wouldn't do without it. I love the models proposed by the application, the visuals and the parameterization offered by SketchWow are mind-blowing, and I haven't found any competitor that comes close, even though it's not produced by a big-name firm.I recommend using SketchWow - give it some love! :)
Pros: Sketchwow can save you a lot of time with a large variety of templates. When you hate to start with a white paper sheet, Sketchwow can help you with a layout.Sketchwow's visual rendering is really cool.Easy to use and really customizableLove the fonts availlable in the applicationFree software updatePurchase with a 30-Day moneyback guarantee if you don't like it, they will refund you.
Cons: This would be cool that SketckWow had a web and tablet version too.
"SketchWow VERY LIMITED"
Overall: So far, I am completely unsatisfied. I can't use the software for templates. The big selling point was that I would be able to create presentations and courses from templates, but there is absolutely nothing close to that in the software. All the templates are 1 page with lots of drawings. I'm not sure how that would help in a presentation.
Pros: The price was good for a lifetime deal.
Cons: It is advertised that one can have a lot of templates, but in reality, only about 2 or 3 templates appear. They advertised that this would help create courses; however, there are no templates (ZERO) for courses. The same can be done with Canvas (Canvas is free).
Vendor Response
"Enhance you sketches with SketchWow!"
Overall: You can jump into making and integrating these sketches into your work in a single day! There is no steep learning curve and the results are fantastic.
Pros: I love how I can turn an ordinary sketch into something much more interesting to look at. It is easy to use and attracts much more attention compared to what I previously did.
Cons: Sometimes you can feel limited in what you can do if their drag and drop items are not exactly what you are looking for but this is minor and not frequent.
"Unlocked Creativity and Deliver Happily"
Pros: I love the templates the most. I can't design anything on my own!
Cons: I can't think of one yet. But if I do the customer service team is always friendly and open to suggestions
