The system is really easy to use—dropping off and picking up keys takes less than a minute. I love that I can manage everything from my phone, and it's been super helpful for coordinating with our staff. The customer service has also been solid whenever I had questions. Would love to use some additional features, but do not need the other features that comes in the Package. Crews can quickly and easily check vehicles in and out and we're able to quickly locate who has a key when one is missing. And, the space in the cubbies for the keys is great because the vehicle key fobs aren't smashed like in some other systems we looked at. Pros It's so simple to use! Tracking who has checked out keys has saved hours of trying to locate keys. Plenty of space in the key bins for vehicle key fobs. The screen is also bigger and more intuitive. Cons That you have to upgrade the service if the system that you currently have is a bit outdated. It hasn't suffered downtown (we expected some downtime) and has been relatively easy for our rental vehicles users to pick up on. Pros Good system for managing keys. Remote access, emails when keys are picked up and dropped off. Helpful in managing remote access to our vehicles for sure. Cons Price is a little high. Ability to tumble codes (all at once or per use) is cumbersome and really needs to be addressed. From the app to the full website, I can manage the key process at any time. History provides excellent details of who, when checked the keys out and back in. It fit all of the needs we wanted in a key tracking system Pros Keycafe intuitive interface makes it easy to use for a broad audience especially in our case for a hotel associate team. Our property was online and using the system, less than a day after the equipment arrived on property. Customer service and technical support has been on point and attentive. Not only with response to technical issues, but multiple follow-up to ensure product success. The setup cost and ongoing expense are very competitive when compared to other available options and a main reason Keycafe drew our attention when considering a key management system. Cons We initially had issues with network connectivity, but our IT team worked with Keycafe to resolve issue in a couple of hours. Given the size of some our key rings in a hotel environment, the bay size on the key café can be challenging to fit certain department keys. I have been more than able to implement the use of the key box. There are few snags that come up and usually are due to user error. We had a vender try to take it off the wall without me there and they were unable to. Which is exactly how it should be. I was able to release the box and allow them to complete their work. Pros Features, security and affordability. The customer service was great and worked well with me. Cons Key boxes could be just slightly bigger to fit badges in holders/sleeves. We attempted to get feedback from several vendors with no success. KeyCafe was very responsive and helpful. There product is just like they described and easy to use. Pros KeyCafe is very user designed. I am able to show my members one time how to do something and they immediately get it. The system is simple to use and to manage. It allows for a lot of customization and that is important to my agency. I wish we had done this years ago! Cons Their implementation left a lot to be desired. The training wasn't very comprehensive and I was left to set it up myself. However, it was fairly simple to do. Everything they do is virtual, which is normal, but a personal touch would be nice.
