Pros One of the key strengths of KeyCafe lies in its intuitive and user-friendly interface. Navigating through the website is a breeze, making it easy for both property owners and users to manage and access keys efficiently. The dashboard is well-organized, providing a clear overview of key activity and allowing users to effortlessly carry out necessary tasks. More to this, their Customer service is exceptional they are always attentive and very well known with their products. Cons While i dont have any other cons we get from KeyCafe in terms of service and or their utility dashboard, probably they can improve the design of their keybox which is for me is the least to worry about. They also leave their keys during their stay in the box in order to avoid to lose them (that's a relief for us too). Cons nothing in particular. Customer service is top notch-we once had a hardware issue and customer support was able to walk us step-by-step over the phone to get the problem resolved. Pros The ability to group keys to different permission categories is great. This prevents occurrences such as unauthorized drivers from having access to vehicle keys, as well as prevents officers who aren't on patrol from accidentally taking patrol site keys. Another great feature is being able to track who last had possession of a key, and/or see whether or not it's been turned in yet. Cons Initially we had a cellular service only keypad on the main box, and our office appears to be nearly a dead spot inside for cell service. Pros I really appreciate the ability to easily control who has access to what vehicle. Customer service has been absolutely incredible to deal with as well. They assisted me through the entire set up and roll out and continue to check in with us on a regular basis. Cons the initial set up was difficult but it had nothing to do with Key Cafe, we had it placed in a location with little to no cell service and the model we used was cellular enabled. With a call to customer support, they changed out the unit we had for one with Ethernet capability and the problem was solved in a couple days! Reason for choosing Keycafe we did explore another company with a similar product but their set up cost and subscription was extremely high. Review Source TP Ty P. We needed a solution to store keys to trucks and equipment after hours, this system has solved our issues. Cons Key boxes could be a little bigger, hard to fit some keys that are either large or have a lot of other keys on the ring. Connection issues have happened a few times where the driver could not get they keys, I feel the box should be able to store key code information for situations like this and update when the connection is re-established. Cons It's very pricey, but you are certainly paying for what you get. I wouldn't say it's something that's necessary at all times, but it's so convenient for our organization. We have 150 vehicles on the road at any given time, and to be able to check on the KeyCafe from anywhere is so helpful. The use of the KeyCafe is super simple, I can either show or talk anyone through the process just one time and the ease of use is fantastic. Our Representative \[sensitive content hidden\] has been absolutely the best. She is easy to work with and knowledge and will answer any and all questions right away. I can't thank \[sensitive content hidden\] enough for her help! Cons I have found the key Boxes themselves are too small. We not only have the tag from KeyCafe attached to the keys, but we have our own tags that we use and all of that makes it difficult sometimes times to put the keys back and close the door and other times the keys will jam in the box and I will have to physically come down and "fix" the door. If they were just a bit bigger, it would solve all of my problems.
