Pros

  • It is helping me network with potential employer and having to not remember where did I put the physical card, you know it is in your contacts once you have saved it.

  • It demonstrates your technical skills, projects, and professional growth in a tangible way with the ease of integration across platforms.

  • I love the ease of use, the technology-forward reputation it conveys, and the smooth integrations it has with my devices.

Cons

  • Sometimes, it was hard to have the card connect to a user's phone.

  • Not all devices support this digital platform.

  • The NFC function of the card doesn't work all the time. I suspect that is a phone-specific thing, but it's a little deflating when you try it with a new contact and it doesn't work.

"I love Wave!"

Overall: It's freaking amazing! I love how easy it is to use, and how it cuts down on clutter.

Pros: It is super easy to use, cuts down on bulk (not having to carry physical cards) and is far more interactive, so people are more likely to contact me.

Cons: Can't think of a single complaint. Wave is awesome!

"Loving my Wave card!"

Overall: My overall experience with Wave has been wildly positive. I no longer need to carry around a stack of business cards or receive cards from others. Wave lets me share all that with a tap--and even allows those I share with to reciprocate and send their info.

Pros: I love the NFC capabilities and the fact that it has a QR code printed on t he card. It makes sharing contact info super easy.

Cons: Nothing. I have used it for several months now and have had zero issues with Wave.

"Simple, Easy, and Fast"

Overall: My experience with the Wave Digital Business Card is strong. I like how easy it is to use and how I'm able to create a profile for all my links outside of LinkedIn and Instagram.

Pros: The simplicity of carrying one business card.

Cons: If a person didn't have NFT on their phone, it made the interaction more of a hassle.

"Ditch your paper cards - Wave is a great solution for sharing contact info digitally"

Overall: Overall I would definitely recommend Wave if you're ready to move on from traditional paper business cards. It's really nice to know I never have to say "Sorry, I don't have a card with me" ever again!

Pros: It's a simple, digital way to share contact information. I like that Wave provides an easy way to keep your contact information up to date and then multiple ways to share that information - through NFC to a mobile device, QR code, or sharing a link.

Cons: The NFC function of the card doesn't work all the time. I suspect that is a phone-specific thing, but it's a little deflating when you try it with a new contact and it doesn't work.

Alternatives Considered: Popl and Blinq
Reasons for Choosing Wave Digital Business Card: Wave was simple and affordable. My needs were simple so Wave was an easy choice.

"A splendid product"

Overall: It is helping me network with potential employer and having to not remember where did I put the physical card, you know it is in your contacts once you have saved it.

Pros: The NFC feature of the Wave Digital Business Card is on point, very easy to use and pretty fast in terms of the implementation. In networking events and meeting a potential employer, sharing contact and useful links like your GitHub page or personal portfolio has become an essential part of making a lasting impression. It demonstrates your technical skills, projects, and professional growth in a tangible way with the ease of integration across platforms.

Cons: I don't have any complaints, however the premium features of custom dashboard and profile is only available to teams, if this feature becomes available to individual users it would be more helpful.

"Fantastic way to share your contact information."

Overall: Sleek and stylish! Highly recommended. One card instead of a pocketful of them, and always up to date.

Pros: The convenience, and the fact that sharing my contact information is so sleek and professional. I am an associate dean at one of the top 5 universities in Canada, and I have the chance to attend many conferences and symposiums, besides meeting with leaders in our province and education system during the year -- I really like using my wave card at these events. So convenient and smart. People always want to know where I got it.

Cons: The only hiccup is asking people to unlock their phone so the card can be scanned, but I mitigate that by telling people that they can either scan the QR code or just tap it on the unlocked phone. People love having options. 99% prefer to tap the card.

"Ease of access"

Overall: Easy contact sharing has never been this fast.

Pros: Ease of access; in a snap of a finger you can share contacts and be in touch with people.

Cons: Sometimes the card doesn't act quickly through NFC, it take multiple tapping and the website also takes longer loading time even though the internet is good.

"Ditch the wasteful paper business cards and switch to Wave! "

Overall: It was easy to set up, easy to upload a custom graphic, and easy to use with potential clients. I had a slight issue getting some phones to read the NFC correctly, but I don't know if that's due to the card, or their phones.

Pros: Wave Digital Business Card cuts back on the waste and organizational difficulty of using a stack of paper business cards. That, and it makes an impression to potential clients.

Cons: I wished the QR code on the back was larger, and that the card was made out of a scratch-resistant material.

"Never using paper business cards again!"

Overall: Amazing. I was turned on to them by a colleague at a film festival and I went out and bought one the next day.

Pros: It's so easy to set up and is super professional. I love that I can easily change my information and links without having to reprint business cards etc.! Plus it's WAY easier for my info to be added to people's contacts. Win/Win. Never going back to paper cards again.

Cons: I do wish the native app was a bit easier to use, but that's probably just because I haven't used it much.

Overall: I think it is great. I just came back from a Tradeshow and it was perfect, everyone loved it and I made easy contacts

Pros: Paperless- and if I forget to bring it I always have my phone and I can share my QR code easily

Cons: The QR code printed on the card is not read by all phones

"A yes for those new to digital business cards"

Overall: Very easy set up. Simple to understand and good first choice for those new to digital business cards

Pros: It was easy to set up and good free options

Cons: Free option is good but has it's limits (understandable). It would be good to have a generic company option.
