Pros The serverless nature of Modal’s architecture made the deployment and the scaling of our video summarization project easier. Because of its user-friendliness, our team was able to get quickly onboarded. Cons We liked modal for its helpful Python-first approach but one minor issue we faced was some restrictions regarding fine grained infrastructure customization across modal compared to traditional cloud providers.
