### "Hopscotch, the invoicing platform that saved my business."

This platform has saved me enough money to consider it vital to my business, I love it!

Pros

I love how easy Hopscotch is to use and how affordable it is. Me and my clients don't have to pay additional ACH fees which saves me and them money, and it allows me to send invoices to clients that don't need the "royal treatment" of receiving invoices, contracts, and more from my main CRM. I can quickly invoice a client with a simple or detailed invoice.

Cons

I wish I could edit the contact info more.

Reason for choosing Hopscotch

It has zero ACH fees which is mainly how I get paid.

### "Making my business life easier!"

Hopscotch has not only be an amazing tool for my business, but it's saved me money! The customer service that I've received has also been exemplary. I hands down recommend Hopscotch to anyone!

Pros

I love that I don't have to pay processing fees! That's why I initially signed up! But, I've also come to love how simple the invoice processing has become for me.

Cons

I wish the accounting area was a little more user friendly. I would love a dashboard view where I can see everything at a glance. Running reports would be great also!

Reason for choosing Hopscotch

I didn't find any other alternative that peaked my interest or that I was considering at all.

### "Still waiting for my money"

Delays delays delays in fixing a problem. I've sent multiple emails, told they will respond within 24 hrs, and although they do, it is usually to say 'we are still looking into this', or the funds will be in your account no later than Friday 8pm. All of which have been unmet assurances.

Pros

Initially appeared to be an affordable way to collect customer payments. But after using for about 15 months, it is absolutely not worth it.

Cons

I've been waiting 2+ weeks for funds collected from my customers to be transferred into my business checking. I've been promised multiple times that the problem will be rectified in a matter of days. I am still waiting. You can imagine the kind of burden this places on a very small business. I can't imagine risking this happening again with additional billings. Quickbooks payment service is more expensive, but apparently that is the price that needs to be paid to guarantee I'll get my money.

Overall I love this platform. I appreciate it being affordable for freelancers and this platform offers more than Quickbooks. It makes my administrative work faster and easier with just a few clicks to send an invoice and collect payment.

Pros

I like that I don't have to incur the credit card fees if my client chooses to use their card.

Cons

I have had a few clients tell me that their payment methods don't work. This has only happened to me a few times and I had to collect payment an alternative way. This could be user error though.

### "Easily pass on credit card fee to customers"

Pros

The reason I chose Hopscotch was because it not only allowed me to easily create invoices and for my customers to pay them, but it allows me to pass along the credit card fee to the client should they choose to pay with credit card.

Cons

I've had clients who have had issues paying with credit card on Hopscotch. Both myself and my clients have had to contact customer support, with little to no resolution when these issues arise, which creates a less than ideal user experience, which doesn't reflect great on me as the service provider even though it has nothing to do with me.

### "Hopscotch saved me thousands"

Pros

At first I signed up for Hopscotch just for the fee-free payment processing, which wound up saving thousands of dollars in transaction fees alone. However after using it as a my go-to invoicing app for the last year I've also come to love their ease-of-use, customer support, overall simplicity, and innovative solutions. Now for my recurring clients who have also signed up for Hopscotch, sending invoices and getting paid is just as easy as using Venmo, where invoices can be fulfilled in just a few clicks.

Cons

It's hard getting existing clients to switch away from payment processors they're used to or already signed up for. Sometimes introducing Hopscotch into the conversation adds a bit of friction and makes things complicated - especially if their payment method isn't compliant or if they prefer to use something else. This issue used to be even more prevalent before Hopscotch added credit card processing. As they continue to improve, this gets significantly better though.

### "Skip the others, choose Hopscotch"

Pros

Hopscotch is awesome! Invoices to my customers are sent in real time. Customers have the option to pay with a check or card. One of my favorite features is Flow. This feature allows me to receive advanced funding before the customer even pays. This is an essential asset for my small business. Verification takes minutes, and the website is not complicated or difficult to understand.

Cons

There are no cons for this software at this time.

My favorite feature is the fee-free invoicing, easy invoices, and auto reminders to clients to pay on time (and continual reminders when they pay late)

I wish I could email the invoice to more than one email address
