He has made an outstanding product available to those us in our profession of Anesthesia. Pros Easy of use, accessibility, expedited scheduling. Having "at a glance" access is phenomenal. Cons No complaints at all. We had full support, making what might have been a very painful transition, simple. The change has been exceptionally well received by all staff members. The program itself has been phenomenal, and the customer support from \[sensitive content hidden\] is unparalleled. It is incredibly rare in today's culture to have a supremely functional program AND exceptional customer support. I cannot say enough good things about MyStaffSchedule, and will use them until I retire! Pros I love the online accessibility, perpetual rotation, and real-time updates. Cons I wish there was a way to update the schedule for both parties when a swap has been approved. I also wish there was a background notes area to keep track of rotational holidays (I schedule out who's off and who's call for holidays in four year cycles). Pros I like the format of mystaffschedule. I can view multiple employees on one page/ grid. It is very easy to manipulate certain aspects of an employees designation or availability Cons I would like there to be an app for mobile devices. It has made managing my staff's schedules immensely easier. Staff members also enjoy access to realtime schedules throughout the department. I couldn't imagine going by to the old way of doing things. Cons The only challenge I faced with the transition was learning the "ins and outs" of the scheduling software. It also allows for each schedule to be created for the specific needs/requests of each site. Cons Initially I was concerned that switching so many people and sites to a new scheduling system would create a lot of problems. I was pleasantly surprised with the eagerness of most users during the transition. It’s so user-friendly and provides me with everything that I need to effectively determine staffing needs with minimal effort. I love being able to pre-populate my group’s off order automatically! Overall, extremely satisfied! Pros Overall, the product gives you a great way have a hands-on convenient way to distribute the schedule to the staff. Very easy to learn and has the ability to create many different options to achieve our staffing goals. Rickey is also very prompt and available for support when we have any questions. For the money this a great product. It's also easy to see the accuracy of scheduling employees and verifying that everyone has an equal number of early out or late stays per week or year. Everyone can see the entire schedule and understand who they can swap with...if needed. Cons I'm addicted to constantly checking to see when my boss has given final approval to a vacation request. Questions are answered quickly and communication from the MSS team is great. Pros I liked that is is very user friendly. I can easily create new schedules or make changes to existing schedules on my own. Adding new providers is quick and easy. Each schedule is customizable to fit the needs of that facility. You can change the schedule view to be up to 28 days. Go To SETUP, then Schedule Configuration, Change the 'Number of Days' box to 28. This will give you almost a month of data to view at a time. I hope you have a big screen. 8^) Also, we just released a manual publish feature. In Schedule Configuration, change the Publish feature to Manual. Schedule changes that are pending will appear with a yellow border. When you are ready for everyone to see changes, Click the publish button to right of schedule. Again, thank you! CL Colby L.
