Owner Renewables & Environment Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "The "Free Trial" isn't worth it" March 26, 2024 2.0 Not impressed, but it did force me to learn to create my own forms in an actual free app. Pros The very first form I created turned out fine. Until I wanted to update the form and it caused nothing but headaches. Cons Hard to update. If you create too many forms, you will be charged. Clients had difficultly using form, in the end caused me more work. The Free Trial is VERY limited. We also needed a place were we could have an online application for new volunteers. They fill out the form, we get an email, and the info is attached either pdf or plain text on a second email. Pros Easy Setup with prompts and drop and paste info in to the fields. Its options to build your form from scratch is easy even for a novice. They even keep a record of all submissions for later review even if you delete the email notification. Even though, we use the free version, the prices are reasonable and comes with great service. Cons Using it too much can lead to a paid version, The product just works! I had never used a service like this before and I feel like it was really easy to learn how to use the forms. I am familiar with computers and software, so that could be the reason, but the setup for your forms is easy. Pros I like that customers can fill the forms out online. It can get complicated sending them a PDF if they're not too tech savvy. This makes it so much easier. Cons It can take a while to setup the forms just the way you like them. Pros Jotform Sign is an online software that allows you to create, edit, sign and share documents. It makes it easy to share documents for people to sign anywhere and submit for review. Cons The only con with Jotform Sign is that the free version only allows you to create/sign 10 documents before you have to upgrade. If you are needing to create and share more documents, you will have to pay. As I said before, the addition of Jotform Sign to the Jotform platform has expanded our use of it. And the price is so reasonable! Pros I am SO glad someone told me about Jotform! Our clients and agents are spread around the country, and most of what we accomplish happens virtually. I've been using Jotform for a number of different forms, and when they added Jotform sign, I was able to expand our use of it because we can track the signature received, making contracts complete. Cons It can be difficult to find answers to specific questions. I'd appreciate a live rep availability through a chat box. Jotform Sign seemed like a major addition and they executed it well. This form for example, won't let me submit and isn't telling me why, and that would NEVER happen if it was based on jotform's platform. Capterra gets zero stars, Jotform gets ten. Pros The form building features of jotform have always been an integral part of much of our work, especially the conditional logic within the forms. Adding a legally compliant signature feature was a very welcome update. Cons They do push us to try Jotform Enterprise occasionally and it is extremely our of our budget. Our older forms with encrypted submission data is not compatible with Jotform Sign, but it is a reasonable incompatibility. Great customization options. Cons For integration with other systems is not as easy as I thought. But generally is a great help!
