Pros The basic version is free, it actually DOES search the web, it seems not to hallucinate as far as I can tell, and it returns data tables in a format I can use immediately. Cons I can't get it to return a long list in the free version, only a short list, so I have to re-query. But for free, I'll take it! It works wonder, and I expect the further evolution of the associated LLMs will make it even more profitable. Pros Perplexity is easy to use and evolves regularly, with new LLMs made available as they come out (GPT4o was deployed recently). Top notch models (for both text and image generation) interchangeable for the price of paid GPT alone makes it a no-brainer. Cons Only cons I find are: - apparently impossible to tie a document or set of documents to a collection. - you can't change model on the fly, you have to go back to settings (it could be implemented by making the tag which indicate the LLM used for a precise answer clickable so as to be able to select another) Review Source AM Abir M. Its copilot feature is phenomenal even going as far as asking you clarifying questions to make sure it can be more accurate. Cons I wish it had a few more free copilot uses each day, but I'm Thankful for the few free that you get every day regardless. It's worth purchasing.
