For an experienced user the interface and functions work great! Pros simplicity and well thoughtout interface, fast workflow in critical situations. optimized for professional use Cons some symbols for functions are hard to notice for instance to get to the filemanager is not really obvious. Also how to add items in a quicknote needs someone to tell you how to do it. Better would be to have the add "fält" button directly beside the "fält"-info square, now its beside the "spara mall" which makes you think to add a "mall" with the add button instead of "fält". Basically "inställningar" and "lägg till" in quick note could change place with each otherfor better usage. the grid buttons under the "lägg till" are unclear what they do, good with a pop up info there when hovering mouse pointer over them.. One way to do it is to have a bubble pop up infos when howering over symbols on the interface for new users. To see internal company news for playipp company on the home page (about 1/4 of the area is used for this) is not really relevant, better would be to see more info like left storage space, statistics, account ID, User and User ID etc.. A little curiosity and imagination will get you going a long way. If you do feel a little uncomfortable with these things then there are many a guide and live, educational meetings online. Pros The layout, the tools that comes with, the options to add widgets, additional screen support, easy to get started, easier to maintain. Amazing support, friendly user base. Cons I have too few screens. Not their fault, just picked a job that is ruled under a tight budget. :) It can however take you a few tries to get pages to look alive. Like those you see as commercial screens. It can be done so they look less flat, so no worries. Reason for choosing PLAYipp Digital Signage It was actually not up to me. The municipality decided it for us. But I am glad they did since it took me just a short while to get up and running and the information was streaming perfectly onto the display. PLAYipp kept getting back to us "forcing" us to put pressure on the installation part on our side - which was great. All-in-all we are very satisfied with the system and find it perfect for what we are looking for (userfriendly and instant changes on screen). Pros You can build your own layout, media storage for jpg files and logos, userfriendly and instant change on device when updated. Cons I am quite satisfied with the system overall - when I have issues it has nothing to do with PLAYipp - it is me who has forgotten how to find certain areas. It can be important information, rules, advertisements for various things, to do list or upcoming activities. if you stop and read the board, you know you won't miss any important information. Pros It is easy to use. It is time efficient. You can gather a lot of information in a good way. It is easy to have text, images and videos to get a nice layout. We have chosen to divide our screen into different fields for different areas and categories. We are several people who together help to keep the screen up to date. Cons When you update the information on our playipp screen, it is easiest to do it on a computer. Then everything appears correctly. It is also possible to post new things with your phone, but some functions do not work perfectly. One wish would be that it was just as easy to update with your phone. Our Playipp screen is so popular and good. Our wish is therefore that in the future you would also be able to access our screen with an app or similar.
