I had over 700 credits and a ton of videos created. I downgraded to the free plan for health reasons, and now I've lost all my credits and can't download my videos. I have to pay again to do it. I don't understand. If I bought credits, I should be able to use them when I can, not when it suits them. It's a disgrace. Besides the numerous problems I had creating videos with Latin American accents instead of Spanish, which were impossible for me to understand, and the constant apologies from the creator for all sorts of design flaws, when I finally had them properly created, I can't download them because the free plan doesn't allow it. It's truly ridiculous. I'm never paying for or using this app again. Pros I didn't like it at all, and I don't want anything to do with this app. I wasted all my time creating videos with a premium plan, and when I switched to the free version because I no longer needed videos, it wouldn't let me download them unless I upgraded. No HeyGen eu ajusto o roteiro e o vídeo sai pronto em minutos. Comecei usando meu próprio avatar, que ficou muito convincente — a sincronia labial e a naturalidade da voz surpreendem quem assiste — e hoje já criei outros personagens virtuais para separar minhas linhas de conteúdo, cada um com voz própria. A interface é direta: mesmo quem nunca editou vídeo consegue entregar o primeiro projeto no mesmo dia. Somando o custo de estúdio, equipamento e horas de edição que deixei de gastar, o retorno apareceu logo nos primeiros vídeos. Cons Os créditos acabam mais rápido do que eu gostaria quando o ritmo de publicação aumenta. Em semanas de produção pesada preciso planejar bem o que vai ser gerado para não esbarrar no limite antes do fim do ciclo. I don't even want to think about this but I may have to look for another AI video creation platform. Since this technology is still growing and changing, the backend of the company has to stay available for communication and the finance department has to remain open to reimbursing AI mistakes and errors. I don't think customer service or finance can create rigid rules and stick to them when the AI is still learning and making mistakes. Pros HeyGen's Avatar Shots is a great product that 70% of the time gives great results the first time. When the video isn't correct or needs to be regenerated HeyGen was good about reimbursing credits used to regenerage. Cons They recently did an update without notify and preparing their current customers. Avatar Shots wasn't listed on the "home page" and I had to go to the chat help to find how to use the product. Then I was unable to "generate" my video as the system was requiring me to upgrade...I had already upgraded months ago. Then I had over 3,000 credits that I had purchased that they took away and implemented a policy that credits could not be carried over so I lost all but 600 credits. Now, they refuse to refund credits for video shots where words are mispronounced. At first I didn't mind upgrading because they were great to work with, but now it's all about how much money they can get from me. It's too bad because the product is good. The concept is promising, but the actual video quality and consistency were simply not good enough for professional use. Pros Nothing at all it is too expensive and it does not do the job well. My appearance and my voice were far from being anything close or accurate. Cons What I liked least was the inconsistency and poor quality of the generated videos. My appearance would change between scenes, especially my hands, which sometimes had random accessories, incorrect details, or even distorted, unnatural looking fingers and hands. Despite repeated attempts to correct the output, the same problems kept occurring. I spent more time trying to fix AI generated mistakes than actually creating usable videos, which made the service frustrating and ultimately not worth paying for. Cons Some advanced customization options could still improve, especially around fine facial expressions and motion control. All of these AI companies have so much control that you can't do anything about it if they just decide to wipe out your account, and no customer service whatsoever. I believe these AI companies are running out of storage space, and instead of telling you, they're just wiping out your accounts, and you really can't do anything about it.
