Customer support has also been responsive whenever needed. Pros The biggest advantage of HeyGen is how easy it is to create professional AI avatar videos at scale. You can still tell it is a bot, but it generally looks nice. Cons The pricing is a scam. The processing time on 30 videos is instantaneous, then it moves to 5-6 hours (which is completely unusable). They then ask you for more money to speed up the processing time. March 24, 2024 5.0 So far Heygen wins overall compared to all the other similar products I've tried. I just wish they would establish a single payment model for lifetime access. Some of their competitors are doing this. If they progress to Heygen's quality, I'll likely move to one of them, unless Heygen adopts a lifetime purchase plan. Pros I tried most other competing products. The biggest issue wuth the other products is the mouth of the avatar is not realistic to the recorded audio. Heygen has proven to be the best so far. Cons I am forced to record the required 3-5 minute video in order to move to the instant avatar feature. Heygen won't accept video with spliced scenes, so I will not be able to use any of my existing video for the sample. Not a huge deal, just have to take time to record a sample that qualifies. It's full of bugs, updates aren't tested before deployed and wind up breaking things, the UI is hard to use, and elements are just generally laid out counterintuitively. Oh, and it locks your video file after submitting for animation, so you're f'd if there's an error that needs to be fixed. Idk if this particular issue is limited to HeyGen or afflicts the AI avatar market on the whole, but it's frickin' dumb and if it IS a market problem the first one to find their way around it will win my business and maybe even be able to charge a premium. Because the way at least HeyGen does it now is duuuuuummmb. Pros It's got AI avatars? Seriously though, I don't "like" anything about HeyGen. The best I can say is that I guess I dislike the login portal the least, but it's sadly true. The ONLY reason to come to HeyGen is for the AI avatars, and you can get those elsewhere. So although it may sound hyperbolic, it's true: the thing I "like" most about HeyGen is that if you're willing to suffer through the rest, you will--eventually--get an animated avatar video. Cons Honestly, it's usually terrible support for basic features that drives me to actually leave a review, but while the support team is seemingly never online and refuses to actually read tickets, that seems to be industry standard for silicon valley these days, so this time the most offensive problem is the content moderation, and not just the absurdly puritanical nature of their filter but how long it takes to get dealt with as well. Siento que es facil de utilizar y de utilizar en conjunto con Redes Sociales (como TikTok) y usar el video generado para darle un plus con CapCut Pros es superior a otras herramientas de inteligencia artificial que intentan clonar tu imagen y que por alguna razon no logran tener una imagen similar a la tuya. Además de tomar tu imagen tambien replica tu voz y suena muy a ti. Por supuesto no es el punto engañar a las personas, pero tus videos si logran hacer que la gente crea que eres tú. Lo recomiendo al 100% Cons al principio se podia generar 1 avatar con la version free (sin tener que contratar) me desanimó un poco tener que hacer la compra del primer mes para probar mi primer avatar. Lo hubiera comprado con mas seguridad habiendo generado el primer avatar gratuito, ya que los clientes somos un tanto escépticos por programas que prometen pero que su calidad no es buena. I am going to try and create a more relaxed avatar with some general jestering. Can't wait to see what they come up with next! Pros The self avatar and voice cloning are the major features that will save a ton of time not having to do a bunch of retakes when doing videos, Not having to worry that the neighbors dog is barking , or the A/C fan is whirling in the middle of you video taping.
