So far I love PB. I was so afraid of getting nasty messages back because I was texting people, but if I come from a place of service and NOT always just the sales pitch, I find people are very receptive to the text messages! Many are so thankful to hear from me as they don't hear from people they do business with often for just a simple thank you!

Pros

I love that PB is customizable so that it will fit my needs and my personality so my customers do not feel as if they are simply being sent robot messages AND the fact that they can reply back and it comes to me so I can respond! When you are sending the same messages over and over, having a bit of automation helps to free up your time for other things that can help make you money!

Cons

It's intimidating at first! It's a lot to learn. My best advice is to find a business friend and collaborate so that you can see the program at work in that persons business and how they use it.

I have had Project Broadcast since it became available. Once I got it up and functioning I walked through one of the hardest seasons of my life, the death of my husband. Suddenly I was the only provider for my family and Project Broadcast was my main source of communication for me with my team. It was a low emotional investment that I could do even in grief. I credit Jesus and my communication with my team to part of why I was able to maintain my business during that season of hard. Just being able to serve one on one made all the difference. If you want to really connect with your team, you need Project Broadcast. 💗

Pros

I like most that I can reach all of my client base or any segmented portion easily and quickly. I can do it on the fly or I can schedule it to go out later in minutes.

Cons

To be honest, I cannot think of anything. When I first started using it, over 5 years ago, there were no training videos and it was a little disorganized, but the team has made so many amazing updates in the last year, I am just blown away. I know it is only going to get better!

The customer service has been phenomenal. They help you get onboarded and up and running. No need to procrastinate they will help you move into action.

Pros

The systems I have created allow me to offer excellent customer care which is important to me. I have a growing team that can easily get lost in the shuffle.

Cons

Doesn’t allow for 3 way messaging if someone decides to add a person it separates the message. There is a group chat but all parties need to download PB for this to work. There is a free version for people not wishing to use it for More than group texts

I highly recommend Project Broadcast - it has made my business messaging and calls more streamlined. I absolutely love PB!!

Pros

Project Broadcast keeps my business separate from personal messages but accessible on the go on my phone and also functional from my computer - I love using it for my business!!

Cons

I like things to happen quickly so sometimes it takes a few seconds to load a page or message in the app, and I find myself being impatient. This is sometimes due to connectivity on the go, though.

Skipio was over-priced, not a company I could trust although I interacted in person with several core team members when they initially started working with us and had a limit on the number of contacts you could add. The price & contact limit was irritating even without the not trustworthy communication from their support team and as soon as I discovered PB, I took a chance!

I use PB to do follow ups - birthday messages - and chat with people. I can get bundle codes from those farther ahead of me who have done the work and created the campaigns - then tweak them to my own. It is saving me a TON of time!

Pros

I like that they give tutorials on all the different things you can do. It is step by step to help you get set up and give helps along the way!

Cons

I don't know that I can think of any cons. I know i don't use everything available - but that is definitely not a con.

This never worked. Could not set it up. Support is non existent. They expect you to do a training on video which was not helpful. Tried to cancel, they charged me anyway even though I never used a single credit. Project Broadcast is a scam and bad company.

Pros

Nothing. It never worked. Hard to navigate & understand what you get for the price. Too complicated & expensive. Price does not equal product delivery.

Cons

They do not have a clear pricing breakdown when signing up. I still have no understanding of what you get per ‘credit’. No support except AI bots or email.

I really like all about Project Broadcast.

Cons

The only thing I have not mastered is the tags. When a customer gives you a home phone number the message is not sent. I can see the message is not sent but I have not taken the time to master how to remove them in mass to the no not message.

I am a very small business working on growing a SMS list. PB allows me to easily communicate with students with updates and upcoming events. I am able to personalize messages and include graphics. It also takes care of the compliance requirements. Very easy to set up and use. I’m really happy with the service and deliver-rate.

Pros

I like that it is on-demand and doesn’t require a minimum use or monthly contract.

Cons

I honestly don’t have a con at this time.

It is the one tool I will never go without. It has increased my sales by half, increased my VIP followers by 60%. I never lose a client in the hustle of my day.

Pros

PB has given me my life back and tracking followups has never been simple! I am now more plugged in with genuine touch backs and give my clients the service they desire. Loving the Landing Pages!

Cons

It can be hard to start using. It took me over 18 months to see how to create funnels and learn the system to build around my business. Once I got it, I've created the most useful tool I have ever used.

I can't brag about them enough. Their customer service is amazing, their price is great for what I get, Project Broadcast changed my business and boosted my sales 10x

Pros

Customers don't have time to talk, but everyone text's. I use texting to find leads through broadcast texts, and then maintain communication throughout the sales process. I love the templates, they make everything I would normally type in an email, automated, with pre-made templates for the same message. I also love voice drop. I can leave a message that sounds like I were speaking to them, when actually it was pre-recorded. It drops into their voice mail without disturbing their day.

Cons

Each text cost money. I would rather be charged "per customer" that I text because I text back and forth many times throughout the sales process. Some "chat programs" might be cheaper overall, but I like Project Broadcast's variety of communication tools.

Dave, thanks for your review! For clarity, you are not charged when you are in a 1:1 conversation with a contact! You are charged for your automated messages from Keywords, Campaigns, Broadcast Messages etc but once you get into a 1:1 conversation, those messages don't use your credits.

### "Every business needs Project Broadcast!"

My overall experience with PB has been nothing short of AMAZING. Project Broadcast has improved my ability to communicate with my large customer base while keeping communications professional as well as personal. I don't know how any business works well without it!

Pros

With a large organization of customers, it is important to me to be able to communicate with them on a personal and genuine level. Project Broadcast allows me to do just that. I've been a PB user for almost 8 years and it just keeps getting better, more robust with features, and simple to use. I love that I can work inside my application from my laptop or on the go from my phone. I also work as a Virtual Assistant for other PB users. The ability to log in to their accounts to work, from my own log in is fantastic! I don't have to keep their passwords or private information.

Cons

Every application has it's hiccups. Project Broadcast is not lacking much! There are a couple of very small things I'd love to see updated in the future. For example, when looking at a tag for a group of contacts, I'd love to be able to go straight to a contact by clicking their name, from the tag. This is a very minor inconvenience but it would be nice to have.

### "I wish I had started with Project Broadcast sooner!"

Pros

It's SO intuitive! I used another company (Engage CRM) before Project Broadcast, and I wish I had never wasted my money with them. I fancy myself fairly tech-savvy, but there was something about Engage and the trainings that I found REALLY confusing. I haven't really done any PB trainings yet and I've been able to figure most features out. I'll do trainings as I go for more advanced features, but I've only been using it for about 6 months and I've sent mass texts, started campaigns, created tags and trackable links, customized fields, and so much more without a single PB training. I also love the weekly tips by text. I'm keeping a running list of features I want to learn more about as I grow in my use of Project Broadcast. There is an abundance of training and education (like Black Friday tips!!!!!!!), and the few I've seen have been very clear and easy to understand. It's also cheaper than Engage. AND I don't have to pay for single texts, just scheduled messages, mass texts, campaigns, etc. So, I don't feel like I can't really use my business line; when I had Engage, I would try to direct anyone who answered a mass text on my business line to my personal line to save money. How ridiculous is that? Now my business line is part of my brand and I don't feel bad about using it!!! I feel GREAT!!!

Cons

There's a Facebook group for my Project Broadcast users who are with my specific direct sales company and I've had some trouble getting answers to some questions from PB reps in there. But that's honestly the only con I can think of.

It’s been wonderful growing my business alongside PB. Where suggestions were made, changes were implemented. When issues arise, PB responds with why and consistently works proactively as much as possible to prevent delivery delays because of carrier changes, laws, etc.

Pros

I love that PB keeps in personal contact with me clients. I can easily make calls from my business number, send personalized messages, even leave voicemails so clients hear from me when they have time.

Cons

There are so many incredible features: campaigns (and all the different styles), landing pages, attachments, bundles, configurable forms, contests…but I’m not sure how to use these features.

Reason for choosing Project Broadcast

The vibe from the marketing, Jake Dempsey’s presentation at Zoom team meeting, and word-of-mouth from other users.

Overall, our company has been happy with the additional of this form of communication. It has helped increase our parent and staff engagement by tenfold! I also feel like we truly get the most value out of this service.

Pros

Project Broadcast has become a mainstream way for us to communicate with our parents and internal staff members such as teachers and operations team. One success story was we needed to collect student registration forms from parents before the beginning of the school year and within the first hour of sending out about 300 text messages, 100 of those parents completed the form. The text messages that went out made it easy to attach a flyer, track a link, and make it convenient for families to do things quicker on a mobile device. I also love the Project Broadcast self-paced videos and guides as a training component that offered credits as incentives and that also helped me get more accustomed to Project Broadcast in a short period of time.

Cons

When Project Broadcast updated some of their formatting, it made it a bit challenging to navigate the system, but it took some getting used to. I wish there was a way to recall or delete a message that was accidentally sent. I wish it also had other languages available for translation versus me having to rely on Google translate.
