My match was spot-on, the conversations were meaningful, and the resources and reminders kept us engaged. More importantly, the team behind Brancher brought genuine care and attention, supporting both mentors and mentees every step of the way. Pros The people behind Brancher genuinely care about creating meaningful mentoring relationships. The platform is intuitive and effective, but it’s their personal support, guidance, and dedication to mentors and mentees that made the experience truly stand out. Cons Honestly, very little to fault. If anything, I’d just love to see even more mentor resources and insights over time, but the team is already responsive and always improving. The Brancher team took such great care to support us through the process of onboarding, support and making sure that we finished the program in the right way. The program was intuitive and easy to use. And the match up was spot on. Pros I loved the match-up. I have mentored people in the past and they came to me because they were needing support in their work or skills development. The mentoring was always fine. But with this mentoring program the match up was so spot on that we had instant rapport and could go a lot further in terms of making progress towards their goals. I really appreciated the insights the matching gave about myself and also my mentee as it helped me to approach the relationship armed with ideas that I could use. I think the advantage the Brancher program has is that when you bring together two people who are aligned on values and personality, the process runs more smoothly and the benefits to the mentee far outweigh a traditional mentoring program. I will definately recommend it to my HR community. All the best! Pros The portal was very well organised. The UI too! It was quite engaging and easy to use for the mentorship program. Cons Sometimes there were issues inintegrating it to the calendar and at times there was some delay in loading up the tool. August 25, 2025 5.0 My overall experience was very good. It was nice to have the regular updates and the feeling of part of a collective, motivated group all focused on supporting each other. Pros I have been involved in several mentoring programs to date, as a mentor, and the matching of mentor and mentee by Brancher has been the best matched thus far from my experiences. Pros Brancher provided great diversity in platforms and communications options. Cons The technology seemed to limit engagement during the online workshops. Pros Brancher gave me a solid platform and quality resources that ensured I had an invaluable mentorship experience. The ability for the platform to deliver the mentorship as a cohort program had many benefits for my experience - this was highlighed in the group sessions with \[sensitive content hidden\]. Cons A few little bugs in the software, although when these were flagged, the Brancher team addressed them immediately delivering a working solution everytime. Brancher have been flexible in their approach and have gone out of their way to understand some of the unique challenges in rolling out the mentoring program across our sector (made up of 11 individual regional NRM organisations located all across Queensland). The use of the matching algorithm, portal, email reminders, and progress tracking have provided confidence in the mentoring experience for us. Pros We liked the fact that it can be delivered online and is supported by a portal that is easily accessed and shared between the mentee and mentor. Brancher have been very responsive in dealing with any technical teething problems for our participants. Brancher has also been very happy to customise some of the delivery by understanding and respecting the unique geographic challenges and capacity issues faced by some of our member organisations. Cons There was some initial challenges with getting everyone on and updating things in the portal. The diary setting process did not work so smoothly for everyone (which then impacted on reporting) but Brancher has been proactive in looking to improve this function. The program facilitated the matching between mentor and mentee with accuracy and efficiency. I met my mentor and immediately knew that I would get everything I had hoped for from the mentor program. I am so grateful - thank you Brancher. Cons At the time, setting appointments needed to be done outside of the system, which meant once I connected with my mentor I was not prompted to use the other brilliant features in the system. I thought it would be fantastic and was proven correct! Cons That I haven't got a mentor yet. This, however, is my fault and I need to reach out to another recommended mentor. I built a mentoring relationship with a HR professional who possesses the skillsets and experiences that I have been fortunate enough to leverage. Our mentoring relationship has continued post the formal mentoring program that Brancher originally provided. Cons There were some minor technicalities when it came to making bookings in the platform, however the Brancher team were very responsive to the feedback provided and continually work to improve the user experience. Cons There's some way to go with regard to the matching however this is a good start. Also, the brancher portal is a little clunky and presentation/design of the site needs improvement.
