Office Manager Construction Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "TeamPoint User " November 25, 2024 5.0 At the moment we are transitioning software packages with some of our clients, so we are not using TeamPoint to its full capacity, however this will change over the next few months. Pros Being able to create worksheets for reactive and call out jobs we have carried out for our clients when they require this for invoicing. The software can be adjusted to our needs and requirements. Cons It was a little difficult to navigate at first but once used to it we could find our way around. How helpful the team are, no question is silly and I have asked a lot. The flow from beginning to end is easy to follow. The package meets most if not all of our needs and works well with other systems we use. Cons The only point I can think of is the service contract set up, you had to duplicate some information. However, that has just now changed and its no longer a duplication. The system is easy to use and the team are always committed to improve the system. This is important to keep driving our own business forward. Pros The system is simple to use. It stores relevant information and allows efficient tracking of jobs through to invoice. The team are also very responsive to changes requested within the system. Cons Allocation of revenue to a resource is something we are working to improve. It would be useful to report on what jobs each engineer has completed including margin achieved. I have used many systems and have implemented and updated other systems as a tester and find this system is very user friendly. Pros Ease of use. Clear overview of company activity. Clear communication from developers when change is being made. Cons If I am using an option e.g. People and update a record, once finished the option defaults to jobs not the selected option people. Cons Only cons are the program when an engineer is in multiple teams in one week and the reoccurring old notes which i believe has been resolved plus having to reattached documents for each new job on a site Switched from [MDS Explorer](https://www.capterra.com/p/56379/MDS-Explorer/) To get a a system where everything from ordering to programming can be done on one system. Pros The ease of access and information on current and historical jobs for both the client and us as a company. Cons Sometimes it can be slow but maybe that's an us issue and not team point. The system is easy to use but sophisticated at the same time. The worksheets produce by Team Point are of a high quality. Customer support team have been very accommodating and open to suggestions to improve the system to work well with our processes. Pros Clear, user friendly system. The feature I like most about team point is the ability to attach documents, images and videos to individual jobs and also to add contact information for all staff including telephone numbers. Also, the ability to add client specific protocols and export data to produce reports Cons Not being able to click on the quote number to take you back into the quote from the schedule. Highly recommend. Pros I've used many systems and TeamPoint is far and away the simplest and cleanest interface. We use it for everything from survey and sales through to stock and contract renewals. It really does do it all. It's easy to find your way around and the team like using it both in the office and the field.
