March 2, 2024 5.0 And as much as I can't draw a stick figure, this application turned me into an artist overnight so much so that I was able to render original art that I now sell on Etsy. AI in general is pretty cool but using it can be frustrating until you understand how to ask for what you want Artistly on the other hand let you describe in very simple words what you want and then creates intricate prompts for the AI to understand. Using it is a blast!!! Pros Artistly has a minimal learning curve and is very easy to use. The rendering is pretty quick. It will generate a complex prompt for you, with only a few words, producing very detailed and complicated artwork, or photo realistic media. You can easily change backgrounds or stylize a photo or artwork that you previously generated. It's packed with features, but there are too many to list here. Cons Artistly is so much fun to use that. I spent much more time playing around with it than I should have. There isn't anything that I thought of as a Con. Review Source GP Gennaro P. Pros By analyzing imports and generating extended prompts and then matching faces I am able to generate consistent characters which is one of the hardest things for software like this to get right. Cons That it didn't come out three years ago. The prompt extender is very useful at generating quality prompts, I use this feature extensively. The Logo creation is not very intuitive to use, and generally does not deliver usable images for logos and as with most AI image generation systems struggles with creating useable and readable text. Pros The quality of most image generation in on par with most AI image generation systems, and outputs fairly quickly Cons in the beginning, the system would limit the output at a ridiculously low number of images, this has been changed, though for an unlimited use product still has limits. But no way is it worth $77 for two months when there are many more generators out there the produce much better images. Most of them offer a limited number of free credits, and their subscription rates run between $70 and $100 for an annual subscription vs. Artistly's $77 for two months. Pros I like the Image to Prompt and the Prompt Extender features. However, I learned that I could get better service for these features for free from another provider. Cons When I signed up for the service, what I was reading on the site lead me to believe I was purchasing a life-time subscription. Everything stated one-time payment. Then after a two month period they tried to collect another $77 saying it was for the next two months. To me this is a recurring payment, NOT a one-time payment. I started out slow, but I use it all the time now. I am excited that they keep updating it and making it even better and better. So excited to see what's coming next. Pros I think what I like the most about Artistly is that whenever you need something, you can go to one place and create it. You don't have to go from one app to another, you don't have to try and figure out prompts. You just can upload a photo that you already have and get a prompt for that pic and then you can create, create and create. Many other software you use, you have only a certain amount of designs a month, with Artistly it is unlimited. I never worry I won't have enough "credits" because they don't use credits :) Cons There is nothing I don't like about it! Some of the dimension options do not allow me to select the number of images I want to generate, and for the ones that do allow selecting the quantity, when I click generate it only generates one image instead of the four (4) that I selected to be generated simultaneously. It has made creating customized images for my presentations easy and fun. The images are also very beautiful and attractive. I also have produced images for a book I have written, so I did not have to rely on stock images or have to purchase images. Overall, I feel Artistly is very good value for money and has potentially a long lifespan and I will continue to use it for many years to come. Pros I found Artistly very user friendly, with a lot of useful features. I also found the AI very intuitive and the results it produced from simple prompts. The images created were more often than not extremely beautiful and incredibly detailed. Cons As far as I know, the sizing of the images is very limited. So if we want a rectangular or a banner like picture we may have to resort to cropping the image. March 9, 2024 5.0 I use Artistly for my content prduction without having to pay for stock images. It has helped save me alot of money and I have made unique designs that fit my content style. Pros It is easy to make the custom designs and images I need to write the content and publish content with relevant images. And I can easily reuse my image designs to fit other content by editing existing images and making them unique. I have saved so much money since I started using Artistly, it has paid for itself. Really glad I have this image maker. Cons I find myself getting lost in making designs and making changes to my designs. So I have to setup a time frame to work on design production.
