A lot of the features included were very interesting but I didn't think they were necessary- and maybe I just didn't know how to use Playbook to its full potential! I will say the 100 GB of storage was a little too small as a photographer, artists, and design student. It was immediately filled with how large my files are. Cons I like almost everything about Playbook, but I think the AI integration doesn't really serve my purposes. After using Dropbox for many years, I found the pricing to be competitive and the overall UI easier to navigate. File format preview support is a little touch that makes a big deal for day to day UX. Additional functionalities are nice to have, but they aren't added as bloatware to make the product feel fully featured—the core usage experience is great! Pros Support for file format previews so that a wide range of formats are viewable, so handy! It's a much needed feature that many other platforms overlook. Being able to leave notes within boards—great for leaving project details without having to make a dedicated document. Dynamic masonry grid makes viewing board content tidy and professional in its function. Looks good for sharing with clients. Lefthand sidebar for access to storage structure is great—navigating all my files is a breeze. Cons From time to time, I run into upload throttling where a few files take an age to upload even if they aren't that big (5-10mb). But this is a minor occurrence. No dark mode 😢 I don't like the side panel opening up automatically as much as it does.
