Pros What I like most about Teamplate is having everything in one application without having to resort to different tools. It's great to have an "asana" a "trello" a "skype" a "slack" a "teams" in just one click. Without a doubt, for the organization of work and communication, it is what all companies need. Cons If I have to say one thing, it would be the smallest thing: to be able to change the colour of the font in order to create more organised tickets. And to have more account status options in the settings, such as holidays. It would be a plus to be able to add a custom status. Operations Project Manager Information Technology and Services Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Cost-Effective Project Management Tool for Startups/Small Businesses" February 2, 2024 3.0 Since I started using it a few months, there's been consistent improvements made to the tool to make it more effective. By far my favourite aspect is that it reduces 'white space' time switching between tools and finding documents since the organizational structure allows you to effectively switch between chat room, data room and task tracking modes very easily. Does it replace Jira and Confluence for a tech team? No - it lacks the flexibility and features. BUT, I don't think this is what Teamplate was built for. When it comes to project management with external clients, it's amazing. I can add as many users as I want to a dedicated space, and have shared documentation across the whole team at no extra cost. From an operational perspective, it's saved us a lot on our bottom line. Atlassian charges per user, and also charges add-ons per user, so it can get very expensive very quickly at scale. Teamplate helped us mitigate this issue for our external facing operations. Pros \- It's completely free - Provides Kanban & checklist functionality - Provides backlog & sprint functionality - Combines functions across tools like Jira, Confluence and Slack into one and makes for easier project-based management Cons \- Notifications need work, currently it's very easy to miss a ping - It's still very much a WIP itself, so there are some rough around the edges features (example: you can't group direct message people, you need to open a chat under a space, which is a little inefficient) - Desktop app & mobile app need more work as they're buggier than the browser version - Doesn't have the robustness of a tool like Jira/Confluence (but it's not really needed for smaller companies) Switched from [Jira](https://www.capterra.com/p/19319/JIRA/)[Slack](https://www.capterra.com/p/135003/Slack/)[Confluence](https://www.capterra.com/p/136446/Confluence/) As explained above, this was a financial decision. Whilst, we are still getting used to Teamplate as opposed to the previous service used, I think that there is a lot of potential and will only get better once it is finetuned slightly.
