Pros

  • It runs pretty smoothly and when there is a question, the helpdesk is fantastic for reaching out quickly and helping resolve whatever issue you are having.

  • I enjoy the catalog of trainings that come with the program as well as the ability to use it to upload our and author our own in MentorPro.

  • The modules are easy to navigate and it is great to help us gauge where our employees can use additional training.

Cons

  • Assigning courses is difficult and the navigation of the system is complicated.

  • We pay our employees based on a tiered scoring system.

  • I do believe that was one of the aspects disliked by the staff.

"A Strong Learning Platform!"

Overall: So far, it's been a really positive experience! This is our company's first LMS and so far, it's done everything I've needed it to in order to launch a formal training program. Outside of a few cosmetic control functions, I couldn't ask for much more!

Pros: I find the navigation of the new interface to be user-friendly and straight-forward. The overall value of the platform, content library, and client support have been very good! Anytime I've had questions, my account manager has responded same day and provided solutions to nearly every roadblock I've come across.

Cons: I feel from the Admin side, we should have a bit more control. For example, as I'm creating new content, once it publishes to TLC, it changes my thumbnail photo to a generic one that I cannot edit, causing every one of my courses that I've added myself to visually look the same. I would also like to be able to control the company logo and banner photo areas of the dashboard. Currently, the only way to do this is to send your photos to TLC directly and wait for them to update your changes. This feels like something minute enough to allow the user admin(s) to control in my opinion.

Reasons for Choosing The Learning Center: The overall value of content, especially the Credit Union-specific courses, the cost, and client support were a better solution than any of the other options we looked at.

"Satisfied Client"

Overall: My experiences thus far have been spot on and are meeting the needs of our Financial Institution. I highly recommend this product.

Pros: The variety of courses from basic to more advanced is critical to the employee development. The ability to assign Lesson Plans, customized by the organization to meet the needs of employees' development is an asset to our organization. Employees also have the ability to choose addition classes to enhance the required classes. All the courses taken are recorded for use at employee's job evaluation.

Cons: It was a bit tasking to set up the lesson plans. Once I got the hang of it, it went smoothly. The support from the TLC staff was awesome and they were very willing to assist.

"LMS Review"

Overall: Customer service had a timely response and were very easy to work with.

Pros: I like that I am able to quickly find classes and schedule individuals.

Cons: It seems a little dated with the use of buttons and assigning tasks.

"The Learning Center"

Pros: I enjoy the catalog of trainings that come with the program as well as the ability to use it to upload our and author our own in MentorPro. We also use the system to fulfill our tracking needs for document reviews.

Cons: It would be helpful to maybe have a supervisor option vs. just a user or administrator.

"Madison TLC review"

Pros: The creating your own tests in mentorpro and the learning plans.

"Thank Goodness for their Client Experience Specialist"

Pros: Working with TLC's Client Experience Specialist is so easy and helpful! They have a great availability and take the extra time to understand what the Credit Union needs from TLC, showing helpful solutions.

Cons: I'm excited for the face lift in making it more user friendly and a modern feel. I do believe that was one of the aspects disliked by the staff.

"A great product!"

Pros: Affordable, with many different options for learning. Love the soft skills area of learning.

"My Thoughts on TLC"

Pros: Classroom creation was simple and easy to manage.

Cons: Mentor pro doesn't allow you to ad gamification.

Reasons for Choosing The Learning Center: It was part of Performance Pro performance management software.

"The Learning Centre"

Overall: Overall good experience. Several courses to choose from

Pros: Can adjust courses under "Learning Plan" in order of importance to complete

Cons: You have to click in a lot of places for setting up a new user and adding courses. Some courses don't show "completed" right away, you have to click into the course to see.

"Comprehensive Online Learning Tool"

Overall: We love the various courses offered in our package.

Pros: Anyone can select a course Can customize by adding your own policy reviews and quizzes

Cons: Assigning courses is difficult and the navigation of the system is complicated.

"TLC is a great product"

Pros: The modules are easy to navigate and it is great to help us gauge where our employees can use additional training.

Cons: We pay our employees an incentive to take these modules. I wish it kept the scores from all the tests - especially if they have to retake the tests. We pay our employees based on a tiered scoring system.

"Always reliable"

Overall: I've used this since I began working for Me-Dian in 2021 and have always experience ease of use, thanks for the great program

Pros: Always happy to use TLC and services for the team

Cons: Nothing but if I were to be required to add something, it'd be all the different tabs that need to be open

"Management Review"

Overall: My overall experience with the Learning Center has been good.

Pros: Courses are short, can re-take exams, lets person know what question they got wrong and provides correct answer.

Cons: There is not anything that I don't really like about the Learning Center.

"Works Well"

Overall: It runs pretty smoothly and when there is a question, the helpdesk is fantastic for reaching out quickly and helping resolve whatever issue you are having.

Pros: We can keep our staff up to date with our yearly mandatory courses and the TLC system keeps track of the completion dates for years past. It is nice to know that the courses are being constantly updated for us to meet the ever-changing compliance standards.

Cons: The menu options could be a little more obvious. They are slightly hidden.

"All Positive"

Overall: Everything seems to be going well and I really enjoy it

"Effective Resource"

Overall: as a plan administrator find the site very user friendly. in the event it is not straight forward, the support team makes up for it all with prompt service

Pros: The ease of the use, the history on employees profiles, and a very robust catalogue
