### "Simple, effective tool for paid bookings"

March 26, 2026

4.0

Overall, CalID is a strong option if you want a clean, no-fuss system to manage paid bookings. It keeps things simple and for many use cases, that’s exactly what you need.

Pros

I’ve been using CalID for managing paid calls, and overall it’s been a really helpful addition to my workflow. What I value most is the pay-first-then-book flow. It’s made a noticeable difference in the quality of booking, people who schedule are more committed, which has reduced no-shows and unnecessary back-and-forth. In terms of ease of use, the platform is quite intuitive. Setting things up didn’t take long, and the interface is clean without feeling overwhelming. For someone who doesn’t want to spend hours figuring out a tool, this is a big plus. When it comes to booking and scheduling it does a solid job. Everything is streamlined in one place, which makes it easier to manage calls without juggling multiple tools. It’s especially useful if you’re offering paid consultations or sessions. From a value for money perspective, I think it delivers well for what it promises, particularly if your priority is a simple, reliable system for paid bookings.

Cons

I found the customisation and automation options a bit limited. If you’re someone who wants more control over reminders or deeper integrations, you might feel that gap.

### "Efficient and Scalable Team Scheduling Platform"

April 21, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Cal.com has been positive. It simplifies scheduling, supports team-based bookings, and reduces manual coordination. Once set up, it runs smoothly and efficiently for daily use.

Pros

The biggest advantage of Cal.com is its flexible team scheduling and automation capabilities. It allows multiple team members to operate under a single booking system, with features like round-robin assignment, customizable availability, and seamless integrations. This significantly reduces manual coordination, prevents scheduling conflicts, and improves overall efficiency. Additionally, the platform offers a high level of customization, making it well-suited for scaling teams and more complex scheduling workflows.

Cons

The least favorable aspect of Cal.com is that the initial setup and configuration can be somewhat complex for new users. While the platform is highly flexible and powerful, it requires time and careful setup to fully configure team scheduling, routing, and integrations compared to simpler plug-and-play alternatives.

Switched from

[Calendly](https://www.capterra.com/p/148036/Calendly/)

I switched from Calendly because Cal.com offered more flexibility for managing team scheduling and customization. It fit my workflow better and gave more control over availability, booking logic, and integrations compared to Calendly.

### "Fast, reliable KYC with room for deeper transparency"

April 2, 2026

5.0

Overall, a solid and reliable identity verification solution for startups. It balances speed and usability well, making it suitable for MVP and early scaling stages. However, improvements in documentation, error visibility, and pricing clarity would strengthen the developer and product experience.

Pros

Fast and straightforward verification flow with minimal friction. The interface is clean, onboarding is intuitive, and API integration is relatively easy to implement for early-stage products.

Cons

Limited transparency on edge-case failures and retry logic. Documentation could be more detailed around error handling, and pricing/credit usage is not always clear upfront.

### "Clean UI, Great Workflows, and Zero Scheduling Friction"

April 2, 2026

5.0

Setting up Cal ID was incredibly fast; the Google Calendar sync worked on the first try without any glitches. It feels like a tool built for the modern consultant who wants a "set and forget" system that doesn't sacrifice brand aesthetics. For anyone tired of the limitations on free versions of other scheduling software, Cal ID is a breath of fresh air.

Pros

What stands out most about Cal ID is the clean, minimalist user interface. Unlike other tools that feel cluttered, the booking pages here look very premium and professional, which is essential for my brand. I also love that features which are usually behind a paywall—like unlimited event types and Razorpay/Stripe integrations—are available here. The WhatsApp integration is a game-changer for reducing no-shows.

Cons

Currently, there isn't a dedicated mobile app, so I have to manage everything through the mobile browser. It works perfectly fine, but a native app for quicker push notifications would be a great future addition. Also, I’d love to see even more deep-level CSS customization for the booking pages.

Alternatives considered

[Acuity Scheduling](https://www.capterra.com/p/191978/Acuity-Scheduling/)

Reason for choosing Cal ID

I considered Acuity, but found the setup process to be overly complex and the user interface felt a bit dated for my needs. Cal ID struck the perfect balance: it has the deep functionality of Acuity (like payment integrations and robust reminders) but maintains the simple, '5-minute setup' experience of Calendly. For a business owner, the speed of deployment and the clean, minimalist booking page for my clients were the deciding factors.

Switched from

[Calendly](https://www.capterra.com/p/148036/Calendly/)

While Calendly is the industry standard, I found their free tier far too restrictive for a growing consulting business. Being limited to only one event type was a major bottleneck. I switched to Cal ID because it offers Pro-level features—like multiple event types, automated workflows, and custom branding—without the immediate high monthly overhead. The interface also feels more modern and aligned with my brand's aesthetic.

### "A good scheduling system"

April 26, 2026

4.0

Great. Been using it for a week and have understood most of the features. Definite scope for improvement, but a much-needed and valuable app.

Pros

The ability to connect all emails together and provide a common available slot. Ability to automate a few workflows, as well as premium features, in base versions

Cons

UI is a bit outdated and can be improved. The preview of the calendars do not show the branding properly. Minor issue in the Outlook calendar invite: meetings are showing as 0 mins.

Overall, my experience with Cal ID has been positive. It helps streamline appointment scheduling and improves operational efficiency. While there are minor areas for improvement, it is a reliable tool for managing bookings and customer interactions.

### "Cal.id holds it’s Own"

November 12, 2025

4.0

I use it to schedule appointments with my students for advising and provide my help with course content. I schedule both in person meetings and online meetings. Overall, it feels like a time‑saver that “just works” once it’s set up: sharing a link lets people book themselves, reminders nudge them to show up. It looks clean and professional to students, the free version is generous, and it connects to common tools like your calendar and video calls without much fuss. There are a few rough edges—some settings take a moment to find and a couple of advanced options aren’t as deep as older tools—but for everyday scheduling, it’s smooth, simple, and easy to recommend to non‑tech folks.

Pros

Cal ID makes scheduling simple: share a link, people pick a time that works, and you’re done—no back‑and‑forth emails or tech hassle. It’s free to start and lets you make as many booking links as you want, so it fits everyone from solo tutors to small teams. If you work with others, it can automatically spread meetings across team members so no one gets overloaded. Your booking page looks polished and professional, and reminders help folks show up on time. It also plays nicely with common tools like your calendar and video calls, so setup is quick and you won’t need a tutorial to get going.

Cons

Here are the downsides: It’s still new, so you may run into rough edges or features that feel a bit basic compared to long‑standing tools. The setup is simple for basics, but finding and fine‑tuning the “extra” settings can take some trial and error. Some advanced options and team workflows may require upgrading or don’t go as deep as larger, older platforms. Integrations generally work well, but like any scheduler, occasional hiccups can happen with video links or calendars, so it’s smart to test your must‑have connections before rolling it out widely. And if you prefer a mobile app with rich analytics and detailed reports out of the box, you might find Cal ID lighter than you’d like.

### "Cal ID coming in STRONG to disturb the market!"

November 16, 2025

5.0

I switched from Calendly a few months ago because I didn't want to keep paying for features I barely used. Cal ID has been a game changer. My clients love how easy it is to book time with me, and I love that I can see everything in one place. The calendar integration worked perfectly with my Google Calendar, and I haven't had any issues with double bookings or anything like that. Overall, I'm really happy with Cal ID. It does exactly what I need it to do without all the bloat or the price tag. Highly recommend it if you're looking for a solid Calendly alternative.

Pros

Honestly, the ease of use is what sold me. I've tried a few different scheduling tools over the years (Calendly, TidyCal, Cal, etc.) and Cal ID just feels smoother. Setting up different event types was way more intuitive than I expected, and I love that I can customize the colors to match my branding without paying for some premium tier. The free plan has pretty much everything I need, which is rare these days.

Cons

Not really a con, but I wish they had a mobile app. Right now I'm just using the web version on my phone, which works fine, but a dedicated app would be nice. Also, the interface can feel a bit overwhelming at first with all the customization options—there's almost too much flexibility, if that makes sense. But once you figure out what you need, it's great.

### "Switched and not looking back. "

December 3, 2025

My overall experience with Cal ID has been great. It’s one of those tools that quietly cleans up your workflow and makes you wonder why everything else feels so clunky. Setup was quick, the interface is clean, and the automations save me real time week to week. It’s become a core part of how I manage my schedule and how I present my brand to others and I switch all my links from another tool.

Pros

Cal ID is super minimal and just beautifully designed. People literally stop me to ask what calendar tool I’m using, which says a lot. It gives me everything I need from a scheduling platform, from automations to workflows, without feeling bloated or complicated.

Cons

I honestly can’t think of any right now, but I’ll update this and write something here when I do. It's honestly gets the job done.

### "Clean, Fast, and Founder-Friendly Scheduling Tool"

January 20, 2026

My overall experience has been very positive. Cal ID makes scheduling simple, fast, and professional. It removes the back-and-forth of setting up meetings and provides a clean booking experience for both me and the people booking calls. It feels reliable, well-designed, and built with a strong focus on usability.

Pros

The UI is very clean and modern, setup is extremely quick, and the overall experience feels smooth and lightweight. I especially like how simple it is to create and share a scheduling link without unnecessary complexity. It feels built for founders and professionals who want speed and clarity.

Cons

### "Great tool → Not a full platform foundation"

April 21, 2026

5.0

MVP / early-stage booking system Quick integration without building scheduling from scratch Solo or small team service providers

Pros

1\. Very easy to use Clean UI, minimal setup Clients can book slots without back-and-forth emails Works well even for non-technical users 👉 This is one of its strongest points — quick adoption. 2. Free with “premium-like” features Unlimited meetings Team scheduling & routing Custom branding options No heavy paywalls like competitors 👉 Huge advantage if you’re cost-conscious (which you mentioned earlier). 3. Solid scheduling automation Auto time-slot matching Avoids double bookings Automatic reminders (email/WhatsApp) Different event types (consultation, demo, etc.) 👉 Saves time and reduces manual coordination. 4. Good integrations Google Calendar / Outlook sync Video tools (Zoom etc.) Helps keep everything centralized 5. Open-source flexibility Built on top of Cal.com Can self-host or customize if you're a developer 👉 This is very important for you if you're planning a scalable platform.

Cons

Limited customization (big one) Booking page design options are restricted Branding flexibility is not deep Advanced workflows need workarounds 👉 If you're building a marketplace like UrbanClap, this is a limitation. 2. Learning curve for advanced setups Simple use = easy Complex workflows = confusing Needs better onboarding/docs 3. Integration limitations Not as rich ecosystem as tools like Calendly Some users report missing external integrations 4. Occasional sync/reliability issues Calendar sync glitches reported Requires manual checking sometimes 5. ### "Best Scheduling App"

January 20, 2026

5.0

Minimalist Design: The interface is very "quiet." There are no aggressive ads or complex dashboards, making it easy for both you and the person booking the meeting. Speed: It is incredibly lightweight. The pages load quickly, which reduces the friction for someone trying to grab a slot on your calendar. Privacy-First: Unlike some larger platforms, Cal.id emphasizes data privacy and doesn't track users as aggressively. Customization: You can create "Secret Events" that don't appear on your main booking page, which is great for specific high-priority clients.

Pros

Cal.id is built for people who find mainstream scheduling tools too cluttered or corporate. It allows you to sync your calendar, set your availability, and share a link so others can book time with you without the back-and-forth emails.

Cons

I dont think any major issues like any other scheduling apps. It has lot of lfexibility that can benefit the users

December 6, 2025

Overall, Cal ID is a robust scheduling tool that offers impressive flexibility for its price point. While the user interface is generally clean, it did take me a little while to fully understand the advanced workflow settings compared to simpler tools I’ve used in the past. However, once configured, the system works reliably. The customizable booking pages and routing forms are standout features that have helped me manage a complex schedule with ease

Pros

Appointment management, email notification ,booking and every feature is good and worthy of price .great

Cons

I have noticed that the calendar synchronization can sometimes be sluggish. There is occasionally a delay between updating my availability and seeing it reflected on the booking page, which makes me nervous about potential double-bookings during my busiest scheduling periods

### "User friendly booking system"

February 9, 2026

5.0

We can absolutely eliminate use of pen and paper to register an appointment. A link can be shared to new patients, where they will be able to see all the available appointments and book easily according to their convenience. While using pen and paper, we need to glance through to see the available timings, but using cal id eliminates that as it displays only the available slots to the patients.

Pros

It is very simple interface, anyone who has no idea about booking system can manage to use it. It provides seamless and easy way to book appointments for my dental patients.

Cons

Quite a few like custom messages are not available. If we have to send custom messages, whatsapp business has to linked to the cal id.

### "Amazing software"

April 30, 2026

5.0

Pros

I have been using Cal ID for over a year now, and it has genuinely been a game-changer. Their customer service is amazing. Any time I have had an issue, it has been resolved instantly. Because of my busy schedule, automation is a must, and with Cal ID, it has worked seamlessly.

Cons

Lack of their own payment system. Razorpay and Paypal charge comissions, so if Cal ID could integarte their own payment system, that would make it much easier.
