### "Great job in this product!"

May 14, 2026

5.0

We have a great overall experience. The team is very impressed with the functionality and with the ability to improve our current state.

Pros

Our team loved the ability to collaborate. The functionality of the platform was more than we imagined. We saw real benefits from working together and having the functionality.

Cons

There was a small learning curve in the platform. Once the team had our onboarding call, we were off to the races though. The team is great to partner with you and eliminate any roadblocks.

### "Scheduling infrastructure that earns the right to be forgotten"

June 6, 2026

5.0

I run a coaching practice as a solopreneur and use cal.id primarily to book free 30-minute Clarity Calls and paid 90-minute Disha sessions with clients. My branded link — cal.id/amitchilka — sits on my website, LinkedIn profile, and every service page I have built. The learning curve was minimal. I had my first event type live within twenty minutes of signing up, including Zoom integration and automated reminders. No documentation needed, no support tickets raised. The appointment management has been reliable for six months without exception. Every booking triggers an instant confirmation to both parties, the Zoom link is auto-generated and attached, reminders fire on schedule, and my Google Calendar stays in sync. No manual follow-up required at any point in the flow.

Pros

The free plan is genuinely complete and not a trial with artificial ceilings. Video call integration with Zoom and Google Meet, calendar sync, automated confirmations and reminders, multiple event types, and collective scheduling for sessions involving more than one host are all available without a subscription. For an individual practitioner, this covers every real use case without a monthly cost. The branded personal link, cal.id/yourname, is a detail that matters more than it appears. It goes on business cards, email signatures, LinkedIn bios, and web pages. It signals professionalism and consistency. Navigation within the platform is clean and uncluttered. Setting up a new event type, adjusting availability, or reviewing upcoming bookings takes under two minutes once you know where things are.

Cons

The navigation for advanced features like routing forms, conditional logic, and multi-host setup, requires more trial and error than it should. The interface for these configurations is not immediately intuitive, and the in-app guidance is thin. Someone setting up a straightforward booking link will have no friction. Someone building a more complex workflow will spend time figuring out what should be self-explanatory. I have had two instances over six months where booking confirmation emails arrived ten to fifteen minutes after the booking rather than immediately. Both resolved themselves, and the bookings were correctly registered. Minor, but worth noting for anyone whose clients expect instant confirmation. Customization of the booking page itself is limited. Colors, fonts, and layout are largely fixed. For most users this is irrelevant. For someone with a specific visual identity they have invested in, it is a small gap the product has not yet addressed.

### "A good enough Calendly Alternative"

December 4, 2025

5.0

Overall I loved it, the UI is super snappy, the design is good and it just works what its suppsed to do. It also integrates with facetime, that's pretty cool.

Pros

The real simple UI its super clean and super simple to use as well. Its pretty snappy and fast - thats what I liked most about it.

Cons

Its still not as big as calendly, so lack some advanced features like robin routing when your team is like 100+ people it might be a bit of an hassle. But for smaller teams its pretty good

### "For the final section, you can fill in your professional details:"

June 15, 2026

5.0

Overall, Cal ID delivers excellent value for money. It bridges the gap between secure identity verification and calendar management efficiently. Aside from a few minor navigation quirks during the initial setup phase, it has been a highly reliable tool that vastly improves our booking security and cuts down on scheduling conflicts.

Pros

The appointment management and scheduling flow are incredibly smooth. It handles syncs seamlessly, which saves a massive amount of manual coordination. Additionally, the security features and user verification provide a lot of peace of mind when handling client data. The navigation is intuitive, making the daily dashboard easy to jump into.

Cons

The initial learning curve can be a bit steep when you are first setting up complex workflows or integrating payment processing. It takes a little bit of time to get everything configured exactly how you want it, though it runs perfectly fine once it's up.

### "Simple, Reliable, and Easy-to-Use Scheduling Platform"

May 14, 2026

5.0

Overall, our experience with Cal ID has been very good. It helped streamline scheduling and coordination while keeping the process simple for both team members and clients. The interface is modern, performance is reliable, and the setup process was much easier than expected. It’s a practical solution for growing businesses looking to improve efficiency without adding unnecessary complexity.

Pros

What we liked most about Cal ID was how simple and intuitive the platform is. The setup process was quick, the interface is clean and modern, and it made scheduling and coordination much more efficient for our team. We also appreciated the smooth user experience, fast performance, and the fact that it reduced a lot of back-and-forth communication with clients and stakeholders.

Cons

While the overall experience has been positive, there are still a few advanced customization features and integrations that could be expanded further. Some workflows may require a bit of manual setup initially, especially for teams with more complex requirements.

### "Smooth Onboarding and an Intuitive Experience"

May 14, 2026

5.0

Overall, Cal ID has been a strong addition to our operations. The product delivers on its promises, particularly when it comes to ease of use. Setup was quick, the interface is well-designed, and the team adopted it without any significant friction. It is a reliable tool that fits neatly into our existing workflow and continues to perform consistently.

Pros

The setup and onboarding process is remarkably smooth. From initial configuration to being fully operational, the experience is streamlined and well-guided. The interface is clean, navigation is intuitive, and the product requires very little hand-holding to get started. Our team was up and running quickly with minimal disruption to our workflow.

Cons

There is a slight learning curve when exploring more advanced features, but nothing that a quick read of the documentation or a short exploration session cannot resolve. Not a dealbreaker by any means.

### "Simply the best"

June 9, 2026

5.0

I’ve had an excellent experience so far and really respect the product and the team behind Cal ID. Happy to be associated with them.

Pros

I like how it offers almost every feature I can ask for in a call scheduling app, and I don’t see any point in using Calendly. No per-seat pricing is what I really like, and it makes it seem like a long term option. API keys/webhook support in the free plan is also something I really value. It just feels free to use Cal ID. Freedom is the word I would go for. Freedom with its API, appearance, branding the scheduling page, freedom to connect it with any tools, WA API, freedom to post feature requests. I like its UI and UX. It feels simple and non-overwhelming. I’ve seen no downtime or any settings not working as expected so far, so I can’t really complain.

Cons

I wish I could say something here as a con, but I just don’t really see any cons. I can’t even remotely guess what a con about Cal ID would be. For our use case of setting up demo bookings, it works for all our use cases, including integration with Make.com. I would have to see other people mention any cons about Cal ID so I can understand what could be a drawback from their perspective. From my experience, there are none so far. Although my team did mention that the email sent when a meeting is booked, something like the who, what, where, and when, wasn’t very readable. It was hard to understand the meeting information from the format.

### "Simple and Reliable Scheduling Platform"

June 4, 2026

5.0

My experience with Cal ID has been positive. The platform is intuitive, reliable, and makes managing appointments much more efficient. It's a solid solution for consultants, freelancers, and small business owners looking for a straightforward scheduling tool.

Pros

Easy to set up and use. The interface is clean, calendar integration works smoothly, and creating booking pages takes very little time. It helps simplify appointment scheduling without unnecessary complexity.

Cons

I haven't encountered any major issues so far. Some advanced customization options could be expanded as the platform grows.

### "Modern, Reliable, and Highly Efficient Scheduling Platform"

May 13, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Cal ID has been very positive, especially because of its smooth scheduling and user-friendly interface. Cal ID made managing meetings and appointments much easier by automating the entire booking process. I was impressed by the platform’s flexibility, customization options, and seamless calendar integrations. The scheduling experience feels modern, professional, and reliable for both internal and external meetings. Overall, Cal ID helped save time, reduce scheduling conflicts, and improve productivity significantly.

Pros

I really liked Cal ID’s clean and intuitive user interface, which makes scheduling meetings extremely simple and fast. The platform’s flexibility and customization options stood out compared to many traditional scheduling tools. I appreciated how seamlessly Cal ID integrates with calendars like Google Calendar and Outlook. The automatic time-zone handling is excellent and removes confusion while scheduling international meetings. The open-source approach gives greater transparency, control, and trust compared to closed scheduling platforms. I liked the ability to create multiple event types with custom durations, buffers, and workflows. The automation features such as reminders, confirmations, and workflow management save a lot of manual effort. Cal ID provides a professional and modern booking experience while still being easy to set up and use.

Cons

Some advanced features and workflows have a learning curve and may require better documentation or onboarding guidance.

Pros

The user interface is intuitive and straightforward, making it easy to navigate right from the start. It performs its core functions reliably without any unnecessary clutter, which saves me a lot of time on a daily basis.

Cons

There isn't much to complain about. Occasionally, there is a minor learning curve with some of the more advanced settings, but nothing that gets in the way of the core experience.

### "Cal.id holds it’s Own"

November 12, 2025

4.0

I use it to schedule appointments with my students for advising and provide my help with course content. I schedule both in person meetings and online meetings. Overall, it feels like a time‑saver that “just works” once it’s set up: sharing a link lets people book themselves, reminders nudge them to show up. It looks clean and professional to students, the free version is generous, and it connects to common tools like your calendar and video calls without much fuss. There are a few rough edges—some settings take a moment to find and a couple of advanced options aren’t as deep as older tools—but for everyday scheduling, it’s smooth, simple, and easy to recommend to non‑tech folks.

Pros

Cal ID makes scheduling simple: share a link, people pick a time that works, and you’re done—no back‑and‑forth emails or tech hassle. It’s free to start and lets you make as many booking links as you want, so it fits everyone from solo tutors to small teams. If you work with others, it can automatically spread meetings across team members so no one gets overloaded. Your booking page looks polished and professional, and reminders help folks show up on time. It also plays nicely with common tools like your calendar and video calls, so setup is quick and you won’t need a tutorial to get going.

Cons

Here are the downsides: It’s still new, so you may run into rough edges or features that feel a bit basic compared to long‑standing tools. The setup is simple for basics, but finding and fine‑tuning the “extra” settings can take some trial and error. Some advanced options and team workflows may require upgrading or don’t go as deep as larger, older platforms. Integrations generally work well, but like any scheduler, occasional hiccups can happen with video links or calendars, so it’s smart to test your must‑have connections before rolling it out widely. And if you prefer a mobile app with rich analytics and detailed reports out of the box, you might find Cal ID lighter than you’d like.

### "So easy to use!"

November 4, 2025

5.0

My overall experience is great. No other scheduling software provides so many features at this value. Clients say it's easy to schedule, and it saves us so much time!

Pros

What I love about Cal ID is that it is very easy to use. I am not great with technology, but setting up and using Cal ID every day to book appointments with my clients has been incredibly easy and has saved me countless hours every month in scheduling!

Cons

What I like the least about Cal ID is the lack of customization in workflows and automated emails. I wish I could send the meeting reminders from a dedicated email address that we use for all email campaigns and that it can be customized with our branding.

### "A good scheduling system"

April 26, 2026

4.0

Great. Been using it for a week and have understood most of the features. Definite scope for improvement, but a much-needed and valuable app.

Pros

The ability to connect all emails together and provide a common available slot. Ability to automate a few workflows, as well as premium features, in base versions

Cons

### "Cal ID coming in STRONG to disturb the market!"

November 16, 2025

5.0

I switched from Calendly a few months ago because I didn't want to keep paying for features I barely used. Cal ID has been a game changer. My clients love how easy it is to book time with me, and I love that I can see everything in one place. The calendar integration worked perfectly with my Google Calendar, and I haven't had any issues with double bookings or anything like that. Overall, I'm really happy with Cal ID. It does exactly what I need it to do without all the bloat or the price tag. Highly recommend it if you're looking for a solid Calendly alternative.

Pros

Honestly, the ease of use is what sold me. I've tried a few different scheduling tools over the years (Calendly, TidyCal, Cal, etc.) and Cal ID just feels smoother. Setting up different event types was way more intuitive than I expected, and I love that I can customize the colors to match my branding without paying for some premium tier. The free plan has pretty much everything I need, which is rare these days.

Cons

Not really a con, but I wish they had a mobile app. Right now I'm just using the web version on my phone, which works fine, but a dedicated app would be nice. Also, the interface can feel a bit overwhelming at first with all the customization options—there's almost too much flexibility, if that makes sense. But once you figure out what you need, it's great.

### "Simple Scheduling That Gets the Job Done"

January 20, 2026

5.0

Cal ID works well for basic meeting scheduling and removes unnecessary coordination. It’s reliable for everyday use, but power users may find it lacking in flexibility. Solid foundation, but there’s room to grow.

Pros

Simple and clean scheduling. Sharing one link and letting others book based on availability saves back-and-forth and actually speeds up decision-making. The setup is straightforward and easy to understand.

### "First Impressions: Simple, Smooth, and Effortless to Navigate"

April 4, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with Cal ID, at least from the first impression after registering, feels smooth and reassuring—like walking into a space that’s been thoughtfully arranged. The UI is clean and uncluttered, which makes a big difference right away. Nothing feels overwhelming or out of place. The design doesn’t try to be flashy; instead, it focuses on clarity. Every element seems to have a purpose, and that gives you a sense of calm while using it. From a UX perspective, it’s quite intuitive. You don’t have to “figure things out” the hard way—the flow feels natural. Moving from one section to another is easy, and the platform gently guides you without making it obvious. Even as a new user, you don’t feel lost, which says a lot about how well it’s structured. Navigation is straightforward, almost instinctive. You click where you expect something to be, and it’s there. That kind of predictability builds trust quickly. Overall, it gives the feeling of a platform that respects your time—simple, easy to understand, and designed in a way that lets you settle in without friction.

Pros

What I liked most about Cal ID was how effortlessly it blends simplicity with purpose. It doesn’t try too hard to impress, yet it quietly does its job in a way that feels reliable and intuitive. The interface feels clean, almost like it respects your time—no clutter, no confusion, just what you need, right where you expect it. There’s also a certain sense of trust it builds. Whether it’s managing identity or streamlining access, it gives you the feeling that things are under control without needing constant attention. It’s the kind of tool that works in the background, like a steady rhythm you don’t notice until it’s gone. And honestly, that’s what stands out the most—it doesn’t shout for attention, but it earns it.

Cons

What I liked least about Cal ID is that, at times, it feels a little too minimal for its own good. While the simplicity is refreshing, there are moments where you wish it offered just a bit more depth or flexibility—especially when you’re trying to do something slightly beyond the basics. It can feel like it stops one step short of being truly powerful. There’s also a slight sense of disconnect in places, like certain features could be more seamlessly tied together. You don’t always get that smooth, flowing experience throughout—it occasionally breaks the rhythm. And then there’s the small things—the kind you don’t notice at first, but over time they start to matter. A bit more customization, a bit more guidance in some areas… those little touches could make it feel more complete. Right now, it’s good—but you can sense it has the potential to be even better.

### "Great tool → Not a full platform foundation"

April 21, 2026

5.0

MVP / early-stage booking system Quick integration without building scheduling from scratch Solo or small team service providers

Pros

1\. Very easy to use Clean UI, minimal setup Clients can book slots without back-and-forth emails Works well even for non-technical users 👉 This is one of its strongest points — quick adoption. 2. Free with “premium-like” features Unlimited meetings Team scheduling & routing Custom branding options No heavy paywalls like competitors 👉 Huge advantage if you’re cost-conscious (which you mentioned earlier). 3. Solid scheduling automation Auto time-slot matching Avoids double bookings Automatic reminders (email/WhatsApp) Different event types (consultation, demo, etc.) 👉 Saves time and reduces manual coordination. 4. Good integrations Google Calendar / Outlook sync Video tools (Zoom etc.) Helps keep everything centralized 5. Open-source flexibility Built on top of Cal.com Can self-host or customize if you're a developer 👉 This is very important for you if you're planning a scalable platform.

Cons

Limited customization (big one) Booking page design options are restricted Branding flexibility is not deep Advanced workflows need workarounds 👉 If you're building a marketplace like UrbanClap, this is a limitation. 2. Learning curve for advanced setups Simple use = easy Complex workflows = confusing Needs better onboarding/docs 3. Integration limitations Not as rich ecosystem as tools like Calendly Some users report missing external integrations 4. Occasional sync/reliability issues Calendar sync glitches reported Requires manual checking sometimes 5. Mobile & advanced features still maturing Some features feel incomplete Custom automation and edge cases not fully supported

### " Great Software to Juggle your Meetings"

April 2, 2026

5.0

Overall, Cal ID has been a solid addition to my workflow. It handles the scheduling heavy lifting so I can stay focused on client strategy and deliverables. It's reliable, easy to share, and cuts down on administrative friction. With a few more personalization features, it could easily become the go-to scheduling tool for independent consultants and small agencies. Definitely worth trying — especially at the free membership level.

Pros

Cal ID streamlines scheduling in a way that feels intuitive right from the start. As a brand and marketing consultant managing multiple clients, the ability to organize and share availability without endless back-and-forth emails is a real time-saver. The clean interface also reflects well when sharing links with clients — it feels professional and polished.

Cons

The customization options for branding could go a bit further. As a consultant, I'd love the ability to add my logo or brand colors to the booking page to create a more seamless client experience. Some of the advanced settings also take a little digging to find, so a slightly better onboarding flow for new users would help.

### "Excellent Scheduling Platform with Great Value and Ease of Use"

April 5, 2026

5.0

I manage a small team in a non-profit organization and the appointment management and booking experience is smooth for both the team and the clients. It helps eliminate the usual back-and-forth involved in finding suitable time slots, which saves a lot of time. The scheduling tools are reliable and make it easy to stay organized, especially when handling multiple meetings.

Pros

I’ve had a really positive experience using Cal ID for appointment booking and scheduling. What stands out the most is the value for money — it offers a solid set of features without feeling overpriced, which makes it a great option for small teams, startups, and even individual professionals. The platform is very intuitive, so the ease of use is definitely one of its biggest strengths. Setting up booking links, managing availability, and scheduling appointments is straightforward and doesn’t require much time to learn.

Cons

More flexibility in branding, booking page layouts, confirmation pages, email templates, and event-specific styling would help create a more personalized booking experience.
