Then, it was just a matter of immediately using and playing with this pretty cool tool. Pros I like Botsonic because it's easy to set up and teach. then I can use it to save time every day. I'm training it to do part of my job so I can sort of outsource myself to the AI and save time. Cons The output is correct ninety percent of the time, but some of the responses are completely unexpected. I found there's a setting for how liberal the replies will be, and I had it set to being the most "creative" with replies. So maybe that was the issue. Overall, there is not too much concern over it. Having said that, it's only the free messages offered through these reviews that keeps me going. The training stage uses a lot of messages. I wish I could just buy more messages without changing tiers. Pros What I like most about Botsonic is about how, if you ask it, it will actually participate in instructing you on how to best instruct it. And, those instructions are spot-on. I was struggling for weeks with one thing and I told it I was frustrated and asked how I could possibly get it to learn given the constraints of AI. The answer it provided will brilliantly simple and worked immediately! It was so gratifying. I'm programming Botsonic to interact conversationally and, so far, it's doing exceedingly well. I almost feel like I'm talking to a friend. I love the ability to start with a template-free design, too, which decreases the tedious chore of trying to teach a Bot with baked-in rules to ignore those rules and do something else. Botsonic is my friend! Cons Support. While they are incredibly responsive at the macro level, building new features continuously, on the micro-level, they fall down a bit, sometimes never answering queries made either in the app or on their Slack site. Cons The inability to train the bot on private knowledge base data. The only option is to upload .pdfs, which do not get updated when you make changes to content in your knowledge base. Also, the sources do not show KB links. The customer support can also be improved.
