Overall it is a wonderful product and greatly enhances my ability to practice medicine

Pros

The ease of access and the setup is easy to find drug doses and more important information.

Cons

The cost has gone up quite a bit and there are no retention discounts for those of us using for years.

Pros

I love the ease of access and simplicity of finding exactly what information I need. I especially love the interaction checker to make sure if that certain medications do not interact with each other and are safe to give at the same time.

Cons

I wish it was easier to put personalized notes in about certain drugs.

Very good. Love the services and accessibility. The mobile app is well designed

Pros

Plumbs is my number one database for anything you’d need to know as a prescriber. The drug highlights, dosages, adverse effects, etc. are all critical reference points for medications I use commonly and uncommonly.

Cons

I wish I had easier access to dosing forms. I prefer to use GoodRx to find available dosage forms.

Cons

An internet connection is required, and there is one practice that has poor internet connection making it difficult to use my mobile app.

Missing drug info: for example dipyrone. It a bit pricey.

Nothing. It is very comprehensive. I guess the only thing is that I can't log in to chrome with it and have to use explorer.

Pros

I use plumbs multiple times a day. The app makes it so easier for me to stand in pharmacy and quickly calculate my doses. The calculator function in the app works well. I can pull it up and still scroll up and down on the drug monograph. I used to have to flip in and out of the app until I realized the calculator was right there. Such a time saver

Cons

The cost of plumb’s pro is very much out of my budget and I’m unsure how often I would reach for some of the extra features.

Amazing experience, I would not be the doctor I am today without Plumb’s. It truly is the most invaluable resource I can imagine to the veterinary community.

Pros

Easy mobile use, covers so many species with the inclusion of many special species, very comprehensive list of medications, many helpful tools, easy to view info.

Cons

The special species/exotics portion of the formulary is robust but not comprehensive enough, I still need Carpenter’s to reference for many of those species. I would like better info on dosage forms that can be compounded for common meds.

Overall, I like the app and will likely continue to get it. I would be less likely to continue if the price continues to increase.

Pros

The app is easy to use and allows for you do so many things such as a Favorites list of the drugs you most commonly use, ability to place/save personal notes (I use this when I've gone to CE and the speaker recommends different dosages, etc.), drug interaction checker (useful for when you have patients with multiple conditions).

Cons

The least favorite thing about the app is the price. It seems every year the app increases in cost. My job will not pay for this. If I didn't use the app frequently, I would not continue to get it. Within the app itself, I wish there was a dose calculator where I could plug the animal's weight (pounds/kg) in and get a dose or range.

I love the access through the app on my phone

Cons

Not exactly a “con” but I would love a pronunciation guide for the drug names. I think there are many that we can spell but may not pronounce correctly. I vaguely remember an app, maybe not Plumb’s, that included an audio file with the pronunciation
