I will always double check a dose and check interactions for peace of mind Pros As a new grad, this product has been incredible to bring me confidence in my drug choices as well as dosing. I can also look up interactions with ease. Cons Overall this is a wonderful product. My first year in practice I used the flow charts to further help develop my skills. After one year out, I could not justify the cost of that, but the basic formulary is well worth the cost. March 20, 2024 5.0 Overall, love this app and advise it to every veterinarian I speak with. Pros I love the notes that I keep for certain disease's and medications. I have anesthesia protocols saved there. I have treatment plans... I love the notes portion!!! Cons I do not like when I am looking at dosages and then attempt to look at dosage forms that if brings me back to the original search screen every time. I wish I could go directly from dosages to dosage form. Also, the cost of Pro. I started using it while in veterinary school for free and continued paying for it when I started practicing. I haven’t stopped using it! Pros I like the ease of use and how quickly I can find what I’m looking for. I utilize the app daily to search for dosages, drug interactions, and side effects. I can email pet parents' resources and give them information about their pets disease, treatment and prognosis from the palm of my hand without leaving the exam room. Any questions they have regarding their pets medication or drug interactions, I can answer right away. I also like the algorithm, which allows me to narrow down my differentials and what testing can be run to get answers faster than before. In addition I can look up a disease that I already know how to treat for new and improved treatments that I had not thought of before. Cons I would like to have an option to chat to other vets about their experience using certain drugs and treating different disease, almost like a consultation that’s included.
