Alles in allem Sind wir begeistert. Wir sparen jede Menge Zeit, brauchen weniger Leute für die Kommunikation und Verwaltung, und machen weniger Fehler. Die Inverstition hat sich mehr als gelohnt. Besonders hervorheben muss man die gute Kommunikation. Wenn mal was nicht klappt, bekommt man immer super schnell Hilfe.

Pros

Super umfangreiches Tool, hat bei uns mindestens 5 Andere Tools überflüssig gemacht. Meines Wissens gibt es keinen anderen Anbieter der so spezialisiert auf Festivals und ähnliche Großveranstaltungen eingestellt ist. Das wichtigste für uns war das Mitwirkendenportal, wo Artists, Volunteers und auch alle anderen Personengruppen ihre Daten über Formulare eingeben können, aber auch später jederzeit Infos nachreichen konnen, oder DInge die wir zur bearbeitung freigeben auch selbst aktualisieren. Das spart und hunderte Emails und Telefonate und reduziert Fehlerquellen beim übertragen von Daten. Nie Wieder Excel Tabellen :)

Cons

Es hat etwas gedauert, bis wir uns auf festiware zurecht gefunden haben. Mit großem Funktionsumfang kommt große komplexität. Wir haben eine Menge Erklärung und Betarung in Anspruch genommen am Anfang. Aber weil man jede Woche kostenlos an offenen Calls teilnehmen kann, wo Dinge direkt am eigenen Account erklärt uns gelöst werden, ging das dann doch ganz gut.

Im Vergleich zu unserer bisherigen Organiosationsstruktur, die über zahlreiche unterschiedliche Tools erfolgte, deckt Festiware alle relevanten Bereiche ab. Die Einarbeitung braucht ihre Zeit, doch dann wird der Vorteil klar ersichtlich. Statt sich mühsam durch viele Exceltabellen und Vertragsdokumente und Emails durchzuwühlen, kann mit Festiware alles gebündelt abgewickelt werden. Besonders überzeugt hat mich die gebündelte Datenabfrage mit Hilfe der Formulare bzw. auch über das Mitwirkendenportal, sowie die sehr intuitive Erstellung von Schichtplänen, welche Teil meiner organisatorischen Tätigkeit sind.

Pros

Die größten Vorteile liegen in der gebündelten Abwicklung organisatorischer Prozesse, die im Zuge einer Festivalplanung anfallen. Es lassen sich Volunteers, Künstler\*innen und Mitarbeitende organisieren, Abfragen und Verträge können gleichzeitig verschickt werden sowie Schichtpläne erstellt werden. Darüber hinaus können u.a. auch Essensbestellungen sowie das komplette Ticketing abgewickelt werden. Zunächst muss Zeit in die Einrichtung investiert werden, doch die Zeitersparnis lohnt sich. Auch auf lange Sicht ist das Tool ein echter Gewinn, da die bereits eingerichteten Vorlagen in neue Projekte übernommen werden können.

Cons

Man braucht seine Zeit, um sich hineinzufinden, einige Dinge erschließen sich nicht auf dem ersten Blick. Man muss einige Zeit in die Einarbeitung investieren, was jedoch in Anbetracht der Komplexität, die das Organisieren eines Festivals ohnehin mit sich bringt, völlig normal ist.

Neben Excel und anderen Office-Andewunngen wurde das Engelsystem genutzt. Dieses Tool ist vor allem zur Organisation von Volunteers nützlich (Erstellung von Schichtplänen), jedoch ist die Benutzung sehr umständlich.

Meine allgemeine Erfahrung mit festiware ist sehr positiv - es ist ein wunderbares, sehr vielfältiges Tool, mit dem wir so gut wie alles rund um die Festival-Orga abdecken können. Das Team dahinter ist sehr hilfsbereit und es werden permanent neue Funktionen erweitert.

Pros

Festiware bietet eine Komplett-Lösung an. Ich finde es super in einem Tool das Ticketing, Booking, Contracting und Scheduling abdecken zu können. Der Support und die kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung ist super! Man merkt, dass dieses Tool von Menschen entwickelt und betrieben wurde, die selbst aus der Festivalbranche kommen. Sehr nah an der Praxis!

Cons

Die Einarbeitung in das Tool ist durch die Komplexität der Funktionsweisen (welche super sind) ein längerer Prozess.

Festiware unterstützt uns in allen Bereichen unserer Festivalorganisation. Von Ticket Sales über Crew und Volunteermanagement bis zu Programmplanung. Durch die zahlreichen Automatisierungen, hat Festiware viele manuelle Schritte vereinfacht und spart uns dadurch viel Zeit und Arbeit. Es Bedarf anfangs einer etwas umfangreicheren Einarbeitungsphase aber das ist ja bei Tools dieser Art normal und der Festiware Support ist immer mit hilfreichen Tips und Lösungsvorschlägen zur Stelle. Man merkt immer wieder dass das Produkt auf Basis eigener Festivalerfahrung entstanden ist, was ungemein hilfreich ist.
