I no longer have to print, sign and save permits to different folders. It's easy to review permits in a central location and I can request additional information or changes without phone calls or emails. Pros It makes it easy to apply for a range of permits. Reviewing permits is simple, as well as requesting changes or providing approvals. Cons Tracking or finding past permits. Some additional filters might be helpful. Customer service with Permit Central is exceptional. Staff are very responsive from the time you initially submit an inquiry, to receiving a response and/or resolution. Cons Inability to pull some reports for internal / external reporting for the Organization. The reports can be pulled by Transnomis staff however it would be easier if user's could pull them on their own. Reasons for choosing Permit Central There was a pilot project through OGRA that our municipality was included in.
