It didn't. It's been the right call for a shop our size, and the support behind it is better than any software we use. Pros imple to create an invoice, simple to track inventory. Close to a thousand parts in ours with shelf locations, so nobody's hunting. Alternate part numbers are a small feature that pays off daily, because our guys don't search using catalog numbers. QuickBooks integration saves re-keying. Timesheets are genuinely useful. And customer support answers on chat or the phone in seconds, which for a shop is the whole ballgame when something goes wrong first thing in the morning. Cons No API at the moment, so getting our own data out for outside reporting isn't possible yet. We've been told it's being built. That's the only real gap, and everything else has been solid enough that I'm not worried about it. Everything is tied together on one platform, from parts inventory, to work orders, to invoicing customers. There are a great number of features ETS offers to make shop life easier. service - we are able to sort services by estimates, upcoming, on site, priority , and completed/ ready to be invoiced. PM services- each unit that comes into the shop has its own pm service created vin specific, so when a pm service is created all filters/ oil we need for that job are automatically put on the job so we dont waste time looking up filters every time the truck comes in the shop. Parts - running the parts department is uncomplicated with ETS , managing cores is not a challenge, keeping parts in stock customers- every fleet we help service is saved into our ETS data base. Its as easy as typing in the unit number or the last few digits of the vin and we are able to start creating a work order. Pros Simplicity, easy to use. Inventory - Keeping track of inventory is straightforward with ETS. Invoicing - creating and sending customers invoices is effortless with ETS. Cons there is no downside to using Easy Truck Shop.
