This software has been a great addition to our workflow. It’s user-friendly, reliable, and has helped improve efficiency across our team. Setup was straightforward, and we were able to start seeing value quickly. I’d definitely recommend it to others looking for a solid solution

I love everything about this app. I've been raving about, how user friendly it is. Any bugs get fixed immediately, response time is marvelous. I couldn't ask for a better platform.

Starting off the app took some time to sync with our new resident portal/software but the bugs were fixed and the maintenance requests are immediately synced with the software.

Very easy to use. Simplifies day to day workload. Maintenance can take control of work orders themselves without office staff having to assign them.

Pros

This app is such a great tool to keep up with completed work orders and who actually completed the work order. The app itself is super user friendly and very easy to navigate. As a Property Manager, it saves me so much time.

Cons

Nothing at all. There is nothing negative I can say. The customer support is great and someone from AppWork is only a call away should you have any questions.

The overall experience with AppWork has been amazing! The app itself is seamless and efficient. The staff with AppWork are all super nice, positive, and extremely helpful!

Pros

I like that once a resident or office staff submits a work order, maintenance can then assign it to themselves in the app and complete it. I also like that they can upload notes and photos of work straight from the app, which streamlines the process. The app eliminates the previous need for maintenance techs to return to the office to close out work orders and receive new tasks, making everything more efficient for staff and residents. It's also very easy to set up, and I appreciate that it's integrated with our Yardi system.

Cons

I have no cons. It's been a Great App and company to work with! We have regular check-ins, so if there were any concerns, they'd be addressed in a timely manner.

Appwork is convenient and easy to use. The whole process of getting signed in to adding work orders has been super easy.

Pros

User Interface and ease of use when entering resident work order. Appwork categorizes each entry based on what is entered.

Cons

Nothing so far. I love using Appwork and it makes my job so much faster and improves accuracy of reporting maintenance issues by automatically categorizing work orders.

It's decent, not too many complaints. We don't use it much for our turn board but rather just maintenance requests.

Pros

Modern look. Maintenance experiences a high volume of work per day and it's nice to have something nice and easy on the eyes.

Cons

Not having all tenants to choose from with who is really submitting the work order. Lots of glitches and sometimes techs have trouble calling out to tenants. I wish tenants could text the tenants on the app

Pros

I am a property manager using AppWork for our high rise apartment complex in Philly, and it's been a total gamechanger for me. My favorite part is how it places the responsibility on the maintenance team to complete work orders and communicate with tenants. In the past, all of this was up to me, but now I can see in real time if my team is making efforts to contact tenants and any hold-ups they might be having. It's fantastic. The team at AppWork is very kind and easy to work with. I like the ability to see the communication between the maintenance team and tenants, which means I'm no longer the middleman. This frees up a lot of my time. Also, the initial setup of AppWork was easy.

Cons

They are always working to improve it so I don't have any complaints but I am excited to se what they come up with next!

Pretty great! I really like how user friendly it is and all of the features it does have. Since using it I feel it has helped our team.

Pros

Appwork is great! Very Helpful. It has improved efficiency in our maintenance process and communication within our team. Highly recommend.

Cons

One thing I would change is being able to edit work orders after submitted. This would help as sometimes residents want to add other maintenance issues they would like taken care of at the same time.

Overall, I’m very happy with the platform. It’s reliable, user-friendly, and backed by a responsive support team, which makes a big difference.

Pros

I’ve had a great experience using AppWorks as an administrator. A big part of my role involves adding users and managing staff access, and the platform makes that process extremely straightforward. The UI/UX is very well designed—everything is intuitive, easy to navigate, and doesn’t require a lot of training to get comfortable with. That alone saves a lot of time day-to-day.

Cons

One feature I’d love to see in the future is bulk data imports for users. That said, their support team more than made up for it—they were able to take my CSV file and handle the upload on the backend, which saved me hours of manual entry.

Pros

It has been a pleasure working with AppWorks. The team is very responsive and very involved throughout the onboarding process. They are very quick to resolve any issues that pop up and are very open to feedback and ways to improve the platform. The app is incredibly user-friendly and adaption has been high.

Overall a good product, some delays and bugs but very affective. very well for preventative maintenance logging.

Pros

AppWork has been a great tool for streamlining daily operations and improving communication. The platform is user-friendly, efficient, and helps keep everything organized in one place. It’s been a valuable resource for managing tasks and staying on top of responsibilities.

Cons

The delay from yardi when submitting work orders, closing work orders, keeping logs of work orders/history.

From a VP perspective, what stands out most is its ability to bring consistency, visibility, and accountability to our maintenance workflows across the portfolio. The platform is intuitive for on-site teams, which has supported adoption, but it also delivers the level of reporting and oversight needed at a leadership level. We’ve seen improvements in work order tracking, response times, and overall organization, all of which contribute to a better resident experience and stronger operational discipline. The AppWork team has also been a reliable partner—responsive, solutions-oriented, and open to feedback as we continue to refine how we use the system. Overall, it’s been a valuable investment that supports both day-to-day execution and broader operational goals.

its not bad. the turn board is kind of confusing. but it is also very straight forward with everything else.

letting residents see updates on the work orders they put in. It is very easy putting work orders in. it is all straight forward.

I use AppWork for work order tracking and categorization, enhancing resident satisfaction by reducing miscommunication through real-time updates. Its user-friendly interface simplifies tasks for my maintenance team and office staff.

Pros

I like how user-friendly AppWork is for my employees, including both maintenance technicians and office administrators. This ease of use significantly contributes to efficient day-to-day operations. I have found the ability to communicate creation, hold, and completion notes to the residents all through the app to be extremely helpful in maintaining a high level of resident satisfaction. The app sends notifications to residents for any new work orders as well as updates on the status of existing ones. This feature has been pivotal in reducing miscommunication and providing residents with immediate, up-to-date information without the need to call the office, wait for office staff to contact maintenance, and then relay information back. Additionally, the initial setup of AppWork was very easy, which facilitated a smooth transition from our previous product. I also thoroughly enjoy the responsiveness of the AppWork team, which adds to the product's overall reliability and efficacy in supporting our needs.

Cons

I understand that the AI is learning, but every time a resident puts in a request for pest control, it autocorrects it to Roaches. This has caused multiple issues with pest control spraying for roaches instead of wasps, spiders, beetles, etc. Make ready calendar could use some improvement. I schedule in advance, and it populates to my technician same day. This has now flooded his task list with over 30 tasks that do not have the date that I listed on the make ready board. I wish there was a 'Scheduled for this date' option for the technicians to view. I wish there was an ability to add technicians to inspections. I don't know a lot about how the point system works, but it feels that the same 2 people are at the top each month when my techs have a high number of points and are not listed on the leaderboard. This could be user error, but just something to mention!
