## What is Notebird?

Notebird is easy-to-use pastoral care software for leaders and their teams. With Notebird, pastoral care teams can store updates about visits with congregants, note important milestones and set up recurring reminders, as well as set and assign tasks to team members. Teams can sort congregants into customizable groups and restrict access to information using Notebird’s flexible permission settings. Information appears on congregant profiles and also in a feed format so everyone on the team stays up to date. Finally, care teams can use Notebird’s Reports feature to assess their care data and gain important insight into the impact their work is having in their ministry. Notebird is thrilled to have integrations with Breeze, Church Windows and Planning Center!

My experience with Notebird is very positive, I enjoy the ease of use and the ability to produce documents to encapsulate my thoughts and finding

Pros

Using notebook is a very good way to keep track of clear outcomes you have recorded, I use it mostly for note taking and reporting.

Cons

As there are fewer users compared to the Microsoft equivalent it makes collaborative working a bit slower

Our church changed computer systems and we had to find a new way to keep up with our growing Care needs at the church. After some research I came across Notebird and found that it was among the top new apps for churches. It has worked out beautifully for our church and is so easy to use. Easy note taking and customer support has good response times. I would highly recommend this to any church looking for a confidential and consise place to keep up with caring for your congregation.

Pros

This is one of the most efficient apps for your church to keep up with Care needs in your congregation. You can customize it for your needs so everyone who is involved with care can stay up to date.

Cons

Notebird has been little slow with software updates and requested changes but overall it's a great system.

Since we have started using Notebird we are hearing from the congregation how much our pastoral care has improved and they are so grateful. Yes, we have made some positive changes in the team, but the secret is a lot of the improvement is because of Notebird.

Pros

Notebird has been incredible for us in helping us track and take care of our pastoral care needs. The pastoral care team can easily see what is happening across our congregation. It is easy to talk with each other using the app about questions and leave reminders for team members. We have easily tailored the categories to our needs. The reporting is fast and easy to use. We had almost no learning curve-it is very user friendly and it is well priced. If we have had questions or issues the customer care team is very responsive and helpful.

Cons

I wish we could up-load data from an excel spread sheet. But this is not a huge issue. We use Realm for our parishioner data--we do not want pastoral care in Realm in order to make sure there is a firewall. But it would be nice to upload data from Realm.

We were using the test version of Notebird and Realm couldn't match it. In the end because of the sensitivity of the data we wanted a completely different system so there would not be any accidents.

This product has been so helpful in making our pastoral care systems more manageable and more efficient. Our whole team can stay up to date on each member we are caring for without waiting. It makes collaboration easier and we are able to communicate needs and work together to meet them. Most of our team onboarded very easily and is using Notebird as a part of their daily routine. We are so grateful for this tool that is helping us care for our members and not let people fall through the cracks!

Pros

The pulse indicators that we can set at desired times - these are very helpful. I like the option to view by people or by activity. I like that I can follow certain people and that I can not only archive, but I can Unarchive someone to bring back all of the notes from a previous time period.

Cons

The limited number of groups we can create.

Exceptional and indispensable tool when caring for people. Many times it has saved me when I was trying to recall an event, encounter, or detail of a person's life.

Pros

This application cuts out the clutter of a church / employee management software while also allowing multiple users to record content.

Cons

The reporting has room for improvement in data manipulation. Having a user defined dropdown list in profiles would be helpful.

As an absolute database novice I was attempting to create my own employee care database and tracking with Zoho. It was nearly identical to Notebird but had a completely inefficient user interface. Desperate for a better solution, I was intensely searching when I read an article several years old about pastoral care which mentioned use of Care Notebook. Notebird's predecessor. The rest is history.

Pros

It's so easy in Notebird to keep a running history of my pastoral care of each church member to pull up for future reference. The milestone reminders are also a helpful feature. It's also very easy to group members and customize your update subject fields.

Cons

Synching Notebird with our church management software was a bit of a trick, but Notebird's customer service was remarkably responsive and got everything running smoothly in short order.

I don't know how I'd get by without it. It makes my job as a pastor so much easier.

Pros

Very easy to create notes, reminders, tasks, etc keep track of my parishioners' needs. I like that I can generate reports showing the kinds of visits I do as well.

Cons

I wish there was an app instead of just going to the website, but it is still very easy to use.

We like it and know that it will Continue to improve as developers hear feedback from users and implement changes to make it better.

Pros

The milestone feature is super helpful to remember important dates for members of congregation. It has opened the door to deeper relationships in our church.

Cons

Some of the limitations on interfacing with the app. The address input is sometimes annoying because it tries to add without zip code and we need zip codes.
